Not going to lie , doing all these scripts takes alot and I mean alot of patience and David have alot of patience I really feel for him 😢 what a legend
I met David a couple times in cons and he's easily one of the nicest people i have ever met. Which says alot cause ive been going to cons for almost a decade. Anytime i see that hes at a con im going to, i always make an effort to say hi to him and chat with him cause he's just so kind and awesome!
It was so awesome hearing Dave talking about gaming, and as another fellow Canadian, really entertaining listening to him talking about the CBC. You rock David!!
Such great guests on this podcast. Thank you for having these conversations, Jim. These make my day. I'm a high school teacher in South Africa. While I drive early in the morning like right now (5:30AM), this keeps me smiling. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you
I met David Hayter back in 2018 and even though many of us know him for being Solid Snake…I knew him from way before that when he made a guest appearance on the sitcom Major Dad and then starring in Guyver Dark Hero. He was kind enough to make me an audio recording in Solid Snake’s voice and signed a couple of items. Total class act.
Oh wow, he actually namedropped Splatterhouse. Always got the impression he actively avoided that role (which yeah, he still doesn't seem crazy about it but it's a personal favorite of mine. :P)
I definitely agree with him. The mad max game was excellent! Loved every second of playing it. And I was hesitant at first, as I'm not a fan of "driving games". But Mad Max was so much more than that. Aaand now I wanna go replay it.
Two legends in one video, can't wait to see these guys at The Nostalgia Con this December, just hoping i'm not one of those guys who ends up bursting into tears at David's table, nearly happened when i met James Arnold Taylor......not my proudest moment to be honest.
6:00 I'm confused. that's something the films invented. 34:00 okay Jim that's adorable.. but I don't think so. Given that the Japanese show whose footage they were using was pre-existing and been around since the 70s. Now that said, you could have gotten them thinking "maybe we should adapt one instead of having to pay Jim for his idea" And yknow, Saban is an infamous cheapskate and thief. Just a walking stereotype.
Hey Jim, it's Ilan! I met you at Fan Expo Chicago on Sunday. I was the one wearing the Pinky and the Brain shirt and we talked about the Pete's Clubhouse clip. I commented on the Leonard Maltin interview yesterday, but since you just uploaded this, I figured I’d leave a comment on your most recent interview. It was a pleasure meeting you, and I hope we can meet or talk again soon!
Hello Jim! My Favourite Character You Voiced is Zummi Gummi! Zummi is My Favourite Character in Gummi Bears! Say, When’s That Zummi Rap i Requested Coming? i Really Want to Hear a Zummi Gummi Based Rap Song! It Would Sound Cool! You Can Use My Trap Remix of Zummi’s Theme if You Want!

Never clicked on something so fast in my entire life. Two legends right here!

Thats alot of scripts that david do , i feel for him 😢 what a legend i dont know why im crying when i see those two talking like legendary 😢😢
David Hayter the GOAT. He is Snake, the voice of a generation
He is 1,000 % the voice of millennials.
2 Big Bosses in same video!!!!!!!!
I imagine Jim Cummings' Metal Gear role could be...
Lasso Huntsman (named after a spider, a FOXHOUND Agent who can climb anything)
Hearing David say the famous lines from Tigger was pure delight. This was a fun podcast. 🧡

What you do
i got to meet David at a Con and man he is such a cool guy
First Liquid and now Solid! Jim is the best! Everyone should love him. He is a great entertainer.

Awesome podcast! Two legends in the same room talking about their careers is always a blast to see.
David Hayter will always be Solid Snake and Big Boss
The Master from Fallout and Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid together at last!
He was on Guyver 2!!!!!!! We need a remake of that or a live action of MSG
Somebody send Jim a video of the 70s Super Sentai shows, they'd blow his mind re: Power Rangers timing
The Guyver 2: Dark Hero was my childhood. To this day I still have fond memories of the music track from where he jumped off the cliff.
Hopefully we get to see Charles Martinet 🍄
Tress MacNeille deserves to be mentioned among the greats that David listed
Guyver was a good movie I recommend to watch I had to do a rewatch when I see that David was in metal gear
I’m playing metal gear solid three right now
Somebody let Jim know that the Power rangers existed in Japan for far more than 5 years before they got on Fox.
The legendary Solid Snake meets the legendary Jim Cummings. What a good episode.
Dream guest, so glad you had him on
Didn’t know Jim done the voice for terror mask that’s cool. I’m glad to see David talk about snake also.
Davis hayter is soooooo coool,I'm so happy he's back as snake
Can’t wait to see Steve Downs, the voice of Master Chief on your podcast
@@mr.hahaha9614 Absolutely a 1000 times yes.
Snake...Snake....SNNAAKKEE!!
David would be amazing writing a new Metal Gear Solid game set in an alt universe where Liquid and Solid are teammates co op style but played like MG3
i wanna see Hayter make a cameo in a Liam Neeson movie where they are like spoofing their serious menacing voices.
According to my script writer teacher, a full lenght movie is two hours long and 120 pages of script.
BEST MASHUP OF DA YEAR WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
POOH BEAR AND SOLID SNAKE HOLY COW!
Oh wow, he actually namedropped Splatterhouse. Always got the impression he actively avoided that role (which yeah, he still doesn't seem crazy about it but it's a personal favorite of mine. :P)
Solid Snake speaking his truths about Tiggers towards the end
Would love to hear some stories about Jim's Video Games work, maybe with like Laura Bailey or Josh Keaton.

Its Snake! I love David Hayter!
David Hayter is a national treasure! Pineapples and sixers for the win
MGS4 will always be my favorite
So excited!
Solid Snake: Keep you waiting huh?
Darkwing Duck interviewing Solid Snake. Friggin' syck.

He’s a writer for the first 2 X-men movies and watchmen.
Don’t forget The Scorpion King.
best Xmen movie by the way
SNAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!
Colonel, I'm trying to be stealthy, but the clapping of my plump butt cheeks keeps alerting the guards.
A vehicle cannot speed to your direct location fast enough
He also wrote The Scorpion King.
but we won't hold that against him
Isn't that Stephen Sommers?
@@crashpalNot just Stephen.
Monty Python Flying Circus still holds up
Fellow comic book fans, check out The Goon for an amazing, beautiful, insane read.
Fingers crossed their movie happens!
Oh man, The Guyver!
Voice of Solid Snake + Voice of Winnie the Pooh (and Tigger too) = let’s DO this
16:46 as soon as I heard Jim mention Deadpool it hit me - Disney needs to put together a “Deadpooh” what if.
Voice acting and voice over
He sure kept us waiting but luckily we caught him at the hundred acre woods visiting Pooh
The pirate versus the soldier
That is always important story should be good and the world building should be beautiful 🎉
now I want Henson Beast
So cool
SNAAAAAAAAAKE!
Soild snake

Jim, do you think Daniel Ross will voice Donald Duck in Mickey Mouse Funhouse?
