i don't trust anyone who doesn't think this is the best season or at least in the top 3. This season was unproblematic, the trainees were all so talented, and so many friendships came out of it. Also, there weren't really any evil edits like the other shows. :)
honestly, idol producer was on a league of its own 😩 I just wish they managed NPC well :') They just wasted their talents and potential
Cai Xukun won this competition the moment he walked in. He can sing, rap, dance and compose. While others train to become idols, he already is a STAR. When he's on stage, he gives off a vibe that commands attention. He helped other trainees during competition which shows that he is kind and humble. Kun deserves all the love and success in the world. Also this batch is just unbeatable.

Kun really lights up whenever he performs. Even though he was made to act cute during the beginning of his career when he wanted to be dark, he excelled no matter what. He has so much charisma. He made these dance moves his own. He is made to be the center of attention and to receive love by so many. By the way, this is such a catchy song. They did a really nice job. So many special idols in this group! 💙 Best season with the best winners. So many of them are so popular and acting in dramas now. This was one successful season with so many talented participants.

The number of times I've rewatched this because of Cai Xukun❤
Among all the produce shows, Cai Xukun will always be my favorite 1st pick, he wasn’t my personal favorite but he was the one who deserved more to be the center, he has an incredible charisma, I can’t take my eyes off of him in every performance, I feel so nostalgic while watching this 🥲 I was still in school when the show came out, and I would come home waiting for the new episode to come out on Iqiyi during the weekend and spend a good couple hours in front of the fireplace with my earphones on, still salty my fav didn’t debut but the final line was satisfying

This will forever remain as my favorite survival programm season. I remember watching it in 2018 because of Lay and Jackson and I got so attached to the show... I watched every bts and couldn't stop watching more and more content. No evil editing, just showing their talents in every way. I still know many names even from those who didn't get to debut. I can sing the chinese parts because i have listened to the song more than you can imagine. There will never be a show that is iconic as IP 2018!

This season is the best survival show I've watched. Cai Xukun is a legendary artist in this show. He is the first trainee of get an A ranking, he became the center of their theme song, he is a good leader and center every team, he is the only center in theme song of a survival show who debuted as center also of the final group, and lastly he became a famous solo artist in China.
