  • This choreography was developed over 5 hours of dance classes for open-level students in Helsinki, Finland. Inspired by the song "Roya," which means "dreams," the dance embodies the essence of dreams and aspirations.
The dance, Tribal Fusion, also known as Transcultural Dance, originated in the United States in the 1990s and spread worldwide. Tribal Fusion is the Western sister of Oriental dance, where dancers typically combine elements from various dance styles, such as popping, hip-hop, flamenco, kathak, etc.
The dance combines isolated, flowing movements with strong accents and vibrations. In addition to soft elegance, it has strength. The dancer may use different props, such as swords and finger cymbals, in their dance.
    Choreography and Instruction: Fanny Delesham
Dancers: Katja, Salla, Minna & Mohanna
    Music: ASADI - Roya
    Studio: Helsinki Oriental
