All of those recent winners (ARCH, BTU, BRCC) I traded but with nowhere near the success that Matt had because like he said, breakout buying has been a struggle and overall undisciplined trading from my end. This really was educational, and I loved how he talked about needing different techniques for different types of markets and the need to have different entry tactics, not just breakouts! I like Matt's comments on breakouts. I've really noticed how the technical base breakout point is a risky zone. I tend to do better out of either buying a breakout reaction resolution, or buying right-side base pivots. The O'Neil Disciple guys did a good video a few years back on pivot entry analysis.

Can you please explain this ? Example : Suppose you have invested in a stock with partial amount with no limit on capital meaning you will be adding more quantity as long as stock is in your favor. How to add quantity when the stock is going up, how to move stop loss with each tranche we add ? How to maximize profits? Can you please explain this with example preferably calculations . If you could make a small video/short on this , it will help us a lot.
Overtrading is only a problem if you're taking mediocre setups. If the opportunity presents itself and it's right setup, does it matter what trade # it is?
I'm baffled by this as well. Overtrading, meaning making bad decisions because you're tired, is one thing, but simply taking too many trades should not be a concern. That's like a casino being concerned that too many people are using their slot machines.
