Yes exactly that happens...CAT doesnt pick a Ramanujam of the era..It just scrutinises the percpectives and managment skills under constrained circumstances.
In the 2nd last problem, can we take a=b=c=0 such that it satisfies the condition a+b+c=0 ? substitution gives the ans 0 also, a=1, b= -1 & c=0 gives the ans 2. if that's true shouldn't the ans be "can't be determined? "
What you are saying is correct. The ways question is given, its answer should be cannot be determined. But actually in the question, it should have been given that a, b and c are all distinct. Then the answer to the question is 2.
Thank you very much sir for such a nice video. this is the first video of urs i have seen, and sir it wud b so nice of you, if u could help me choosing a good CAT institute in kolkata.
Sir, I just wanted to know why cannot option 4 be the correct answer in the cricket balls question cause one may need to obtain more than one sample to correctly label the boxes in my opinion. Please do answer
Assuming that option 3 is the answer, if you withdraw a ball from this box and it happens to be red, it implies that this box has only Red balls and can be labeled accordingly. This means that the box which is mislabeled as White can be correctly labeled as the "Red & White " box, since the possibility of this having only Red balls has been discarded, as also the possibility only White balls (since its mislabeled). Consequently the box mislabeled as Red can now be correctly labeled as the White box. A similar treatment is required if the ball withdrawn from the box which is mislabeled as "Red & White" is White. Hence option 3 is the answer.
Because if you choose the Red box, it has either White or Red+White balls, and in case you get a white ball out of it, it will still be unclear as to which group does it belong to - just white or Red+White. Same goes if you choose the White box. However, Red+White box is the only box which will have either just Red or just White balls. Hope it clarifies your doubt.
hello sir.i want to be a teacher of aptitude and reasoning for cat coaching institutes.can u plz tell me...what should i do to learn it thoroughly.i will be very thankful to u.
Do get all the concepts cleared with the help of a trainer or by going through all the videos available on the same topic. Besides that solve two decent books of quantitative aptitude or the complete material of some coaching institute. I think after that you will become comfortable in taking classes on the same.
thank u for rply sir . can u plz suggest some decent books of quantitative aptitude and reasoning for self study purpose.and name of any good institute in delhi which focus on giving conceptual knowledge rather than cramming the shortcut only.can i get all of yours videos on quantitative aptitude and reasoning if possible.or any other link for video classes.
You can join our comprehensive course, where you will get material as well as videos. We are going to launch our online course in next 10 days, in which the complete course would be covered through videos and E-lectures. You can join that. You can buy quantitative aptitude by RS Aggarwal and one book of quant by Abhijit Guha.
Good video but the only problem is the question that said a train ENTERS a tunnel AB doesn't that mean that the train was at point A the least...to fully understand the sentence I had to substitute the word ENTERS to approaching
Entering means the engine of the train is entering. This is an actual CAT exam question, the language is the same. What you suggested is incorrect, approaching could be at a distance of any units from the tunnel. The questions on trains are framed like this. Thanks for writing.
The answer for the second last question should be option 'd' that too due to the reason that it is not given a, b and c are distinct. Otherwise the correct answer is 3rd option. The answer for the last question is correct, no problem on that front.
GREAT. THIS TYPE OF INSTITUTES ARE 500x BETTER THAN SO MANY COLLEGES. TQ SO MUCH

why is Mr.Shashi Tharoor teaching myth Buster's ??
😂
Sir, your tricks are really helpful. Thanks for such a
useful video...
For the question with a+b+c=0 (13:31) what if a=b=c=0 is considered?
Won't the answer be (4) Can't be determined?
If I remember correctly, the question (from a previous CAT paper) also said that a,b,c != 0.
Very impressive and better than many coaching institutes. The first question came in our West Bengal 10th standard board in 2015.
In the 2nd last problem, can we take a=b=c=0 such that it satisfies the condition a+b+c=0 ? substitution gives the ans 0
also, a=1, b= -1 & c=0 gives the ans 2. if that's true shouldn't the ans be "can't be determined? "

didn't get the last one ....why did we rule out red and white options?

+HitBullsEye ☺ Thanks

last two answers are wrong
last answer is d
last second answer is also d
