Love your videos Chris, thank you for being you! I dig using whatever is at hand as a tool--I find that a rock with a bit of an edge works great for cutting tape. House key works as well, but I respect your use of the fingerboard 🙂 I recently got the Nicky Guerrero reissue and it is my favorite deck. The Ray Rod. skull & sword flight deck looks nice!

So, I had a paper route growing up to keep me in skateboards, and I learned a trick for dealing with those plastic straps, flip them over and pull the long piece away and they come right off.
Choice vid Chris I think I'd choose the Vallely with the green cruiser wheels cos I love that color and bombing hills

I would get all the hoodies, shirts, and joggers. Then the glasses and patches, followed by as many AA 9.13 as they would allow. Then whatever pro model Chris gets of course.

I would order the Mike V. Mini Elephant Cruiser or those first set of wheels you have! I have a mini cruiser with the sword and skull and love it but I really like the Mike. V mini cruiser too

I'm dumb and didn't know what speed cream did, but I wish you had kept it vague. "You gotta have speed cream. It's just amazing. When you're having issues with your speed, it's essential."

Even though I thought Steve Siaz was rad when I was a kid I didn't know what he was up to and wondered why some great guys on Powell didn't have a pro model and he still did? BUT I just saw him on Hawk vs Wolf and he seems like he's still cool and he still skates! Go hit him up, Chris. Tell him you're challenging him to a game of skate, both of you on a Siaz deck of course.

I never tried a shaped deck, and I'd love to try one. I as also thinking about getting a pack of rough rider wheels, bc my towns sidewalks and roads are so bad that my 99a wheels can't even handle these roads and I like to ride my board to get from point a to point b, and I just can't without softer wheels.
I got a set of 58mm 87a wheels to cruise around on and I love them so much. Small pebbles and such that would be death on my normal wheels are no problem :)
@@chumba421 I was thinking about getting bones rough riders but those are 80a. I never had a pack of soft wheels, so idk what's too soft or not soft enough.
@@-dfh-866 in general as long as its only for cruising there is no "too soft", im using the 56mm Bones ATF Rough Riders and i love them!
Dont forget a Riser Pad though, especially if u think about getting 59mm, the wheelbite can get ugly otherwise.
@@Mutedyou292 I was thinking about getting those exact wheels. I still want to be able to Ollie up curbs and stuff like that though which is why I didn't know if I still had to be kinda careful about not getting too soft wheels. The 56mm wheels sound perfect bc I used to ride 52 spitfires but changed to 54 bones street slims and I love those in a park and they're ok in street spots, but it can't be too rough. I wish I knew the exact wheel to buy for a rough street but not to cruise, but to skate street spots. But yeah I need a set to cruise and another set to handle a rough street spot.

This might sound dumb, but.... is it more expensive for Powell to give you all those reissue decks compared to all the other guys riding the regular popcicle shapes? And how often are you setting up a new deck?
i mean theyhave to make the shape decks regardless so I think there isnt any different getting 100 cut then 103
I would get the Tony Hawk 1987 model and Rodney Mulllen decks, I had both of these in the day. It’s time that Chris gets his own model.
If they made them I would order 97a Mini Rats, Street Bones, and Freestyle wheels to go with the re-issue decks. Reissue Decks: Tony Hawk Street, Lance Mountain Doughboy, 1st model Ray Barbee, and the Tommy Guerrero Iron Gate model.
And Andersons purple board and wish I could get my old Tony 2 tail deck back again.
I would order a 8.25 flight deck. Would help with Nollies and switch.

Look I really like you , but normal cutting knife costs like 5$. There is nothing wrong with using one. Any kitchen knife will do. Caesars are fine as well. You can even use nail clippers or a Nail Pfile. Last resort, use a sharp stone from the ground. You can use your Keys. I'm just throwing some normal suggestions so you don't have to struggle so much with them boxes.
