- Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says if Joe Biden “stumbles or performs very badly” at the first presidential debate in June the Democrats “can still replace him” at the convention.
Joe Biden and Donald Trump have agreed to two presidential debates.
They will be held on June 27 and September 10.
“The theory goes that let’s go ahead and have a debate … if Biden stumbles or performs very badly, [the Democrats] can still replace him at the convention,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News host James Morrow.
“Keep in mind, neither of these men will be the formal nominees of their party at the time of this first debate.”
The Democrats can also be replaced, come November!
This report is not researched at all. Biden is due to not be on 2 state ballots due to late date of dnc convention(after cutoff date). They are in court to try and adjust cutoff dates. Selecting a new candidate then nominating him/her at the convention means it must be later. This means more states cutoff date missed more ballots the dnc candidate is not on. It takes time to organize an election there is no time for a new candidate it is to late. This is just makinginey report no facts

Let him stay, use him to shield her. Allow voters to see his decline and make them grow weary. Some will continue to support, some will jump ship, some not vote. But then one day a hero will come. Someone they know, trust, being very different than what's being offered. Will love her courage because she said many times she never would.
