- Mamaclay kicks off The X Factor Malta Season 4 Semi-Final by taking us in the world of show biz with Loren Allred's "Never Enough" from "The Greatest Showman" (2017). She is so great that she can take on any song that comes her way. Mamaclay is the lady from The Philippines who is gracing us with her voice at The X Factor Malta Live shows. Will she go through to the Final?

This version has a very difficult arrangement; this is not an easy one compare to the original areglo of this song. I understand d struggle. Still it was a very good performance. Hats off to you Marielle! God bless
She was never given an easy song, she just knew how to carry the task being given and did at her best... The rest just stayed within the genre that is comfortable for them from the beginning. Even if one tries to do the replay of their performances one would really see the difference as it is definitely obvious. The locals here are just too envious and bitter to admit it. Good luck to them.
@@claireobeja8094 As I review the performance, she was struggling because the song has a very low pitch; the reason why she couldnt manifest the finest and the prowess of her voice..Even if she attempted several times pushing her voice, it was not possible to show up its real voice. They gave her d parameter that limits her voice. Working beyond that parameter, Mariel would be out of tune; the reason why the are few sharps. Anyway, her voice is unbeattable. They can only beat her that way by giving her the arrangement which is not fit to her voice.
That is her style of singing this song! Goodluck!

Napanood ko lang to sa mga reaction video ng mga voice teacher sa never enough ni morisette.dapat yung bigkas ng me ay hindi mi dapat meaaaah para mabigkas niya ng full power ipit kasi ang power pag mi ang bigas sa me..kaya daw yung ang ginawa ni morissite kaya ang powerfull ng buong performance niya.

Not an expert or a pro but Sounds tight when she was singing the "for me" part. Maybe better if it was "me" instead of "mi". She struggled with "enough".

It's not flawless. I saw her struggling with the transition and reaching high notes. But still, she has fantastic performance.

Some people find this so good because they have a lower standard in singing,but as a viewer in philippines this is not a good song choices,she struggling a lot and missing alot of notes,I wish she pick a better song that would fit her vocal range

What did she think? She was going to come to Malta, compete against her inexperienced little babies by playing some fools on their emotions, take their opportunities accolades and wealth, and not find strong opposition.
Take a good look at yourselves, those Maltese who do not guard, support, and assist with the little opportunities left for those little children on those small islands.
Support local talents.
@spekter_717, May I ask if you READ the rules of XFactor before airing out your statement? For sure, you did not. It is an International Show which caters talents so anyone can join. The locals here just contextualized it. Btw, Jessie J who is already a famous artist even joined a Singing Competition in China and won...take note that China is a Communist country and it has got all reasons to shooo Jessie J off the show but she won and Malta is democratic but your actions and words are not. If I were you, you tell the Judges to make some specifics on the rules of XFactor Malta Show, atleast no foreign talents will ever join in the show----it is that simple!
@@claireobeja8094 Please carefully read my earlier and current statements, since I never claimed she couldn't compete and prevail. Just curious as to what set you off. Was it the bit where I exclaimed, "What did she think? She was going to come to Malta, compete against her inexperienced little babies by playing some fools on their emotions,? Or my standpoint regarding guardianship?

@@Spekter_7T7 ,I read your comment and understood its connotation quite well. Any one who joins such show has got what it takes to qualify....calling them "babies" is an understatement. If they are just babies/greenhorns, they wouldnt have passed the live shows and reached the finals. Would you call those babies when they could even compose their own songs and make it their own rendition? Some of those here even commented that ONLY Sean and Mamaclay did not step up so they needed to be eliminated. Uwejja! Btw, to be able to support the local talents here, XFactor Malta Show should atleast have stated that audition is just exclusive for local talents so controversy regarding this unjust elimination would have been avoided nor repeated the next time around. Anyway, I Do thank you for your reply and wish you the same thing.

She didnt make it in finals
Not so good rendition.There are some parts that she didn't hit the right notes like in sustaining the high note sort of like off key and her low notes are not that good in terms of control and proper placemensl. She really put herself to the limit that is why she struggle in the hiigher note that is needed in her version.

@@tosh_kiba andaming mas talented na mga artists sa Pinas na hindi nabigyan ng break dahil sa kamangmangan ng mga televoters. Sila Mori, Charice, Regine atbp ay nakilala lang at naappreciate ang talent nila dahil sa mga banyagang vloggers at social media.

Before that, she only made few apperances on TV but that was not enough to earn her and her family a living. I saw Charice mom's interview on TV about those struggling times. Mori has already been singing and competting locally before she joined The Voice Philippines. She was soon honed by ABS CBN as one of its artists in the weekly show but, she was given even bigger break through social media until she caught David Foster's attention. Ang nananalo diyan sa Pinas ay yong may talent na mahirap na sa paningin ng madlang people ay underdog pero in terms of popularity and number of offers abroad mas lamang pa yong mga hindi nanalo.

I think song choice is not accurate to her voice. Or I think she's just nervous. There's flats and out of tune. I think she's having a hard time to tune the lyric " FOR ME " she should not sing it like how we pronounce it , she should sing that part instead of " ME(MI) she have to give air on that part hindi parang ipit and MIIIII na parang binabasa. Just saying pero i love her, lalo na mga unang performances nya.

Not a good song choice for her, she had a lot of struggles singing this song. This is not an easy song to sing. Don't push it too far know your limits.

I think she sang it perfectly, i don't hear miss pitch, i think this kind song so perfectly for her voice, cause her voice is very big, her vocal range is Wide to, n so powerfull😊

I think her not making it to the finals says it all. It was really a poor rendition.
This performance was a bit disappointing. The notes were too exaggerated, too much emotions. She was doing so much stuff vs what the song actually requires. I used to like her during the auditions, but her performances became so underwhelming during the live shows. She’s can sing but not really marketable.

I'm sorry she left, but to be honest this was the worst performance she gave in the competition 😢 there were a lot if times she was flat or shouting. I think she was given the wrong song choice... Anything from bodyguard or dream girls would have been perfect... :(
