Too much nasal, this song is supposed to project conviction (im not going/leaving without you), to achieve conviction in singing, power belt with open throat must have been done. Belting through nasal are usually done when getting higher than your “comfort range”. Hitting high notes and sounding good, no doubt she has it, but f*ck it, why does most of the Filipinos use their voice on a wrong choice of a song. This song does not suit her at all. But she’s good.
In her defense, during this moment, she has been singing non stop. She was defending champion I think 2nd week of Jan 2024. Then she advanced to semis, singing week long 4th week of Jan then this grand finals, i think 1st week of February. Nasal belting is the safest she can do to secure her boice in the next coming days until champonship day. Her plan went well. Look, she's the champion.
