For your halloween eyeshadows, i think that depoting them and keeping them in a Z palette would be a convenient way of storing them all together (not exactly the ben nye or meron ones, but the cheaper ones). There is something so satisfying about decluttering and making life more simple :) love you julia!
watching these declutter videos are so statisfying. the 88 palettes brought back so many memories. I have a 120 palette I never reach for it...but ah the memories ♥

Hahahaha those 88 color palettes where THE SHIT back in the day! I remember I was so upset when my dog jumped on my desk and destroyed mine. I can't believe you still had some! Brought back good memories :) :)

Wow, it's ridiculous that some ppl (actually the majority) are on here begging/asking her for her used makeup. Guys, just for health reasons (and a lot more reasons) these UA-camrs will never send out used makeup!! They could get sued if someone got an infection! If you want make up, save up like the rest of us & buy it yourself. It's crazy that people are on here asking for some strangers old makeup!🙄

I really wish I had the time to do decluttering videos like I wanted to. We are in a rush to move and I'm having to declutter while throwing ev3rything I own into boxes! LOL Moving in less than a week with no notice is not on my list of "fun stuff I can't wait to do". Your videos really got me going and helped me get rid of a lot more than I originally planned! I really do love watching decluttering videos, they just do something to you and make you want to clean and organize! haha

You got rid of so many pallets, saying "I already have so many of these colors", but you got rid of pretty much everything, do you have another drawer full of pallets or single shadows??
I think this is the drawer of palettes she doesn't really reach for, so she probably has ten other drawers for her other palettes

I decluttered a lot of my Sleek palettes. I gave them away to my friends. I actually really liked Vintage Romance and Showtoppers, but now I prefer high quality ones. I kept Safari because it was brand new and discontinued. The green tone is so pretty I can't toss it.

I used to have a lot of shimmery shadows but now, my Kat von D shade + light eye palette and UD Naked Basics 2 and some dark red/wine coloured ones are enough for me. and thaaaank god, the Kat von D one are all matte👌
A lot of pretty colors in those palettes. Giving me ideas for some spring/summer shadows to try :-)

i would gladly take a few of your Sleek palettes. i never committed to purchasing any because of my skin-to-eye-colour contrast.
i find old makeup useful for art supplies. The eyeshadow smashed up would be perfect to color resin.

I don't know why but this hurts me so much to watch. I have a ton of makeup too but i always almost cry when i have to throw something away. They're like my babys haha. And you can do this so easy. Like "i don't use that bye" and i think " nooo baby i'm so sorry you can life in my house " hahaha

Julia, you can depot the shadows in the clunky Smashbox palette and put them into a much smaller z palette. Don't toss the Smashbox!!!!

noooo you don't. not including my palettes, all my makeup basically fits inside a standard rectangular shoe box that i refuse to be stuffed full, and just having to go through that is a huge pain
+Strawberica Lynn I have like one pallet and a few odds and ends that fit in a change purse. So yeah I do. Lol

I love the wet n wild palettes for the price. I used to have that blue one but I broke it in a move. And I tried to find it again and I couldn't. Sad they no longer sell it on their website. I do have the neutral one I use all the time.

Hey there, must be so hard to have to go through all those palettes and figure out which ones to keep and which ones to get rid of ...... Some of us should have such a problem .... Lol .... No but really I can see getting rid of some of those because as we get to buy better make up we tend to push aside some of the others that at one time was okay but no so now. I don't have as many as you do but I have done the same with some of mine. I gave mine to out local Ladies shelter. Then I do the girls make up for Prom. It's fun and I love doing it.
OMG, don't throw it away! have a giveaway for each one of the palletes so a lot of followers can have a gift :D

Is this makeup being thrown away or donated? Not complaining just asking. I love decluttering videos just like makeup collection videos. They are both so helpful.
darlingmoon I think most people pass the good ones to friends and family but throw away the super old/crappy ones
I do the same too. I know Julia does makeup videos and she will have the need sometimes to get rid off the expired makeup...and she most likely pass on the ones that she doesn't use. I do the same too. It's just that I didn't hear her saying if she would thrown them away for being old and expired or passing it on to others. Any decision, I totally respect. I am buying the Paradise palette she shows in this video for my Halloween looks. :D

I would love to take those neutral once since I love makeup and I love to watch so many tutorials yet I don't have much makeup. Can you just give it away because I need it so bad and I would keep it and take care of it. 💓
A lot of the ones she showed you can buy for cheap from BH cosmetics, Sleek, etc... They are very inexpensive. Sleek pretty much ships world wide too... Also, asking for a strangers used makeup isn't very sanitary. They wouldn't take the chance of sending anyone their used stuff to anyone. But, like I mentioned, they are very affordable! Yay!
