Thank you for doing projects that don't require a cricket. When I make canvases I paint the canvas whatever color I want than to add the words I use stickers and then spray paint over the top with a different color and then remove the stickers. I have made quite a few and they turn out really well it's my lazy way of making an expensive seasonal decor.
Maymay, I would like to tell you thank you for your tutorials. You and your husband are the best medicine when things are not well. You pick me up and forget my troubles. Your bubbly personality is great medicine. Thank you.
Adorable, I think a little village scene of different size houses and snowflakes above would look so cute too. Love your projects MayMay. You always give us so much inspiration, thank you.
I am so happy to see that popping holes in the canvas is ok! I am in the process of doing a smaller (8x10) with a Nativity scene and wanted to add fairy lights with the stars. Got to nervous about punching holes in it and stopped my project. Then low and behold here is your video in my recommendations list! Guess my thoughts of adding g lights was meant to be!😊 Thank you!
I love this project. There are so many possibilities with this - going with holiday theme for several as well as a wedding and graduation theme. Thank you for a great tutorial and awesome project!
Maymay, I cannot tell you how much I truly enjoy watching your tutorials. They are always so welcoming and very informational. I just wanted to let you know how much you are appreciated. I loved the old school chalk tracing.. I had forgotten about doing that! Loved it! This is a beautiful piece.... Keep on crafting and inspiring! God Bless YOU!
I love that you do not have a cutting machine and you are able to show us how to create this. I absolutely love this project!
You help my confidence. I love your videos. You explain so well.
Hello MayMay I pray you are well and staying warm😊
I’m loving the Let It Snow project👍🏻 and I understand small town living , we are in a resort town, off season we are a population of 6500, summer time we double as lake people come here from out of town to fish and go boating. We have a small WalMart and a WalGreens so I shop there a lot too 😊
It’s a two hour round trip to the nearest decent size town, Joplin, MO. So we don’t run to town to grab a roll of tape lol
I love that you are make Christmas projects now(early) as gives great ideas.
I love doing Christmas early! I make my own cards and some of my gifts. I must start early. I have my cards done. I’m now working on gifts for teachers, friends, BUNCO group etc... Thanks for the great ideas.
So VERY COOL LOVE IT. Thanks for all of YOUR FUN HARD WORK.
Meme you are my superhero of crafts.’’’’’’ I absolutely love what you doing!
I love that Santa canvas you did and it turned out beautifully ....I just love it!!
I do not have a cutting machine. I can't justify 200 dollars for the machine and then still have to buy expensive vinyl. So I really really appreciate that trick you taught us!! Thank you.

But I certainly do enjoy my crafts. Peace love and joy to you and your family!!

Hugs, Stacy
That's pretty! Good job!!
I love this. I'm going to try to do it for myself.
For some time I have wanted to do a lighted canvas but was unsure how to start. I should have KNOWN that you would not only have the vid, but show more. I am going to make one for our entry way and add some of your folded trees in various sizes for a star lit night winter scene. Thanks for sharing your talents and ideas!
So stinking cute!
Dear Maymay, thank you so much for sharing such a fabulous idea, I just love EVERYTHING about your beautiful canvas. You're a very talented and resourceful lady. I'm definitely going to make one of these canvases myself, maybe in very dark navy. I've got all the materials for the project except for the chalk paint. Or could I use acrylics instead?
Totally cuuuuute!
So adorable! Love love love! 🥰
Love this idea! Looks good! Thank you!
So loved this!!!
love it! cant wait to try this
Thank you for doing it without a cricket! I don't have one and have been wondering how to transfer to black. Thx
This is so awesome. Great job my friend. I think I will give this a try and see how it turns out. Thank you for sharing.💕💕
I love it!!!!
I love it and I have everything to make it.
Loved this idea!
Awesome job love it
What was the advantage of using Waverly paint for your lettering and not the paint pens?
It's beautiful! That was DIY for dummy's! Thanks, I need that:D it was disappointing though that I didn't see it lid up. Maybe take it into a dark room, wait till night fall or something like that to show the beauty of the entire project next time. Thank you! From WA state USA ;)
Would this method only work with the "chalk" paint mentioned or can you use acrylic paint and in various colors?
You did a fabulous job. It looks perfect!
Cute! When lit, can you see a shadow from the cord? And what is the piercing tool you used? I didn’t see a link. Thanks.
Where did you get the lights? Very nice. Thanks Terri Jeffreys
Very pretty
LUV IT !!!!!!
