What do you make of the situation?
So true! An affair is an affair. Why would Prince Albert go to the hospital, what kind of a comment is this? Why would you guys make such documentaries about affairs had by the prince for a night or two or even months or years? Prince Albert had a wedding, only one with Princesse Charlene with whom he has two children.
I’m appalled by Alberts behavior and this Nicole’s behavior as well. Nicole needs to be quiet, focus on her child. Albert has kids all over the place, refuses to acknowledge them and drags his feet when he has to man up and take responsibility. These children have no claim to the throne of Monaco but they must be taken care of. I’m sorry for his wife. I’m happy he’s defending his wife, as he should, but he created this whole unfortunate situation in the first place. Charlene has suffered so much. Such a sad mess.

What is "Albert's behaviour"? Is he not supposed to see his son on his birthday? He's been criticised for not involving the two older children in his life as much as his younger two. He's also criticised when he spends time with them. Nicole Coste attends events in Monaco that do not need the prince's invitation or permission. He could ban her from the principality which he has the power to do, but that's the mother of his son. Why would he do that?

How was she a mistress when they were both single. It seems like you don't actually know the history. They dated for 6 years. She accepted the responsibility of a mother, and he should accept the responsibility of a father. They didn't have to marry, but he shouldn't be allowed to choose not to be in his child's life or ensure the child's financial upkeep. The same goes for the mother. After all, he was initially involved when Alexandre was a young child.

Regardless, whose fault is it that he made that child. We are talking about children, human beings with feelings and needs. He has to be accountable and responsible for all his children. No ifs or buts. And who cares about Caroline. She made a mess if her own life. Just check her history. Moreover, Albert's father, Prince Ranier's mother, Charlotte, was the illegitimate daughter of the crown prince Louis and a cabaret singer. She was officially recognised in 1911 and declared a dynastic member of the Royal family. If you are going to bring forth an argument, at least let it be a consistent with facts. So if you are going to call this young man a derogatory word, remember Prince Ranier's mother and Albert grandmother was 'bastard'.

She is/was not a mistress. Albert and her had their child when they were both single adults. It's true he has now married and thus moved on. Nicole deserves "respect" as Albert's past love and mother of his 1st born son. She has done nothing wrong (except giving interviews to tabloids). She had a prestigious clothing line in London and deserves respectable work in Monoco. "Welcome to Modern Royal Family."

Then they go on to marry women they do love and forget about the affair they had in the past. This is what makes women angry. In Prince Albert’s case, he is forced to have a relationship with his eldest son, which puts Alexandre in a very good position legally for the future, even though Alexandre is not in the line of succession to the throne. But we will see. As of now, next in line to the throne is Prince Jacques, Prince Albert’s youngest son.

Nicole and Alexandre are not going anywhere, they are sticking around until Prince Albert passes away, and the minute that Jacques becomes the Prince of Monaco and inherits the Monegasque Throne, Nicole and her son will go into action and contest Prince Jacque's Royal inheritance to the Throne. Nicole and Alexandre have no intentions of leaving for this very reason. I’m sure Nicole and her son have a legal team in place to go into action once Albert passes away.

There’s a few differences going on here; next in line to the Monegasque Throne is 9 yrs old Prince Jacques, and Alexandre is now an adult, not inline of succession to the throne, but he’s positioning himself and his intentions legally on what he wants to do for Monaco. Plus he could use the legal system in Monaco against his very much younger brother Prince Jacque’s legal rights to the throne since Jacques is very much younger than himself. When the time comes when Prince Albert passes away, I can see a lot of drama over who will become the next Prince of Monaco.

Her child is in good terms and has a good relationship with his aunt Princess Stephanie and her children, Louis, Pauline and Camille, who have welcomed him as a cousin.
