When I was a kid, for some reason, I always found it hilarious when the 2nd old guy went: "Well, it's about time, dude! I've been waiting 63 years" 63 years...jesus x3
I almost forgot how simplistic life was back in the 90s. We would be playing N64 or PS1 with our buddies at home, and gather game tips from guide books, words of mouth, or limited edition merchandises like Fruit by the Foot. Now that we are living in the age where we have smartphones, and the Internet and online PC gaming having grown a lot more than it did decades before, I really miss those old days.
To this day, even as a man 👨 in his late twenties, I still crave Froot by the foot every time I play a Nintendo game. And they say marketing schemes don’t work pfft.
I actually learned something useful from one of these wrappers: In Sherbet Land on Mario Kart 64, use the trigger button to hop over the corner of the ice cliffs and save on time
oh my god i remember when those things had tips on them, and riddles and stuff, then the ones that were like square had tattoos for your tongue, holy shit was that a simpler time man...
One of them threw the other controller across the room in a fit of rage, breaking it in the process. They’ve been too invested in this game of Mario Party to go out and buy another controller, so they’re stuck swapping instead.
@jwgilligan Same but i'm 17. It's kinda weird thinking not to long ago I was playing outside in my backyard with all my friends but at the same time I'm going to legally be an adult in a year. It's fucked up.
Man don't we all miss the 90's
Mario Party 2 was released in America in 2000
@@cyber-thundr_the 90s, early 2000s. Tomato, Tomoto.
And don't forget the late 2000s and early 2010s phisiflcly 2010-2012 aka final era of the old years
@@0M3GGAyou are thinking of Japans version December 17th 1999 and North America version is January 24th 2000. Also no tomatoes in them patches.
in 2072 they better put N64 tips back on the Fruit by the Foot rolls.
alex palko 2064*
It better be N, not out.
I may be dead by then.
@@garfieldthecat6889 yeah me too I'm only 31yrs old how I miss this old commercials
I be alive in the year 2072.
This is proof that you are never too old for video games.
very true my dad plays fifa and madden on his xbox one and he is 65
When I was a kid, for some reason, I always found it hilarious when the 2nd old guy went:
"Well, it's about time, dude! I've been waiting 63 years"
63 years...jesus x3
Here we are, 20+ years later, lmfao. Only 40 more to go!
"Hey dude, your sister's cute." :)
Game Grumps in 50 years.
Now danny and arinn will be elders!
lol

Holy smokes, I remember this commercial!
I remember this commercial!
I remember this commercial!!!! I've had it stuck in my head for years!!!
To this day, even as a man 👨 in his late twenties, I still crave Froot by the foot every time I play a Nintendo game.
And they say marketing schemes don’t work pfft.
heck im 31 and i saw fruit by the foot in the store this morning, havent had that stuff since i was 18. decided to buy it , brings back memories
These commercials made me associate Banjo-Kazooie with fruit flavors as a kid 😂
Haha i remember these commercials
@azart61 same, a mix of slacking and geezing.
90s were the best!
I actually learned something useful from one of these wrappers:
In Sherbet Land on Mario Kart 64, use the trigger button to hop over the corner of the ice cliffs and save on time
Awsome!
I definitely remember this commercial. It's been years since I've had a Fruit Rollup.
Timmy kind of reminds me of my grandfather LOL
Is your grandfather obsessed with video games too?
"Hey, dude. Your sister's cute."
yep! that going to be me in the next 50 years lol
I remember this commercial, and asking my dad for an N64 for so long when I was a kid!!!!
Me too. But guess what. Since I had a SNES...
Mom: "Don't you already have a Nintendo?"
Donkey Kong 64, Pokémon Stadium and Mario Party 2 the three most requested games for the Switch.
sad part is these old guys have probably kicked the bucket by now.
21, I still give my N64 some love.
LOL i remember this commercial.
I wish the n64 was around for at least 63 more years.
I still remember this
azart61 After 8 more years I now barely remember this, lol
@@toadfan64 I three remember geezing slackers of intershowing.
I remember this I was like 3 or 4, man I miss these times 😢
“Hey duuude, your sisters’ cute”. This ad has had me laughing for 20+ years.
Ayy, dude.... Ya sista's cute!
oh my god i remember when those things had tips on them, and riddles and stuff, then the ones that were like square had tattoos for your tongue, holy shit was that a simpler time man...
i'm surprised that those guys did not get really fat by sitting and eating fruit by the foot all of there life's.
*in theroy a human brain can hold 10 terabytes of space. or possible 2 petabytes of space (200,000 TB)
Then why can't I remember how to do algebra
Me at the retirement home:
its hard to believe that the 90's was a decade ago
Oh boy thanks for that one way trip to memory lane that fruit by the foot was really good too when i was a kid.
They do know the game is multi player right, or were they too cheap to buy a second controller?
It was either a second controller or more Fruit by the Foot, I think we know which choice they went with.
One of them threw the other controller across the room in a fit of rage, breaking it in the process. They’ve been too invested in this game of Mario Party to go out and buy another controller, so they’re stuck swapping instead.
Maybe the other controller broke because of those cheap ass analog sticks that would always loosen up so easily.
You know this commercial has yet to actually happen if it is 63 years after the N64 came. XD 1996+63=2059
Your thinking about it to hard it's just a commercial
THIS one is the second commercial.
WOW, I haven't seen that commercial since 2000 and I was 10 at the time.
Foreshadowing of our futures in the 2090's
63 Years!? The Playstation 20's already out by now!
i know right! nintendo 64 is a mere video game relic by now. and its no longer popular. still a classic game system though.
Well there old! So they are probably playing for nostalgic reasons.
+kakashi101able probably.
or they've been playing so friggin long that they don't know anything about the outside world. 😆
Not to mention, that box of Fruit by the Foot would probably be stale by now.
+ThisThingEaten probably. but eat in nothing but fruit by the foot for 63 years is not good for ya! haha! 😂
I remember this!
Same, senior slackers.
I don't think I had fruit by the foot since 1999....Oh I'm so getting it now. Booyah!
oh my god this was my most favorite fruit by the foot commercial I believe I was 8 at the time ahh the 90s were great
wow, i remember this one.
Same.
This is actually the second commercial
Wonder if anyone ever interviewed these two for this commercial role
wow memory trip lane
Why doesn't the old man just buy another controller so he can play
with him?
Around the time Donkey Kong 64 Pokémon Stadium 1 and Mario Party 2 came out
He waited 63 years just to play n64. These guys have really wasted their lives.
XD! I remember this commercial.
They predicted our future.
good times watching this commercial when i was 4 :)
Anyone remember getting mad at the old man for stealing the controller back from his friend when his turn was over? Lol
woow back in the day!
Lmfao, I've been searching for this commercial my whole life XD
I want his controller lol, looks nice in clear blue
ill be 21 next mont i feel super old
This commercial is not from the 90s. This commercial was aired at June 28 2000.
The fruit by the foot tip for Pokemon stadium should just tell you to give up
wow, they were basically telling kids to eat sweets and play video games all day... sad
Beast Folife #sad
They have a different controller in the other one, so either they got a second one, or the first one broke.
Try getting it repaired at Play N Trade.
-kidThunder
LOL i remember this one
Same.
63 years huh... what would be the name of the Nintendo system by then? We saw game cube wii and now wii u what will be the next one?
Andrew Warren the switch
Nintendo 65
Heiankyo Alien I like it
This reminds me of my brother and his friend. lolz.
Fruit by the foot was the shit.
same here :)
anyone notice that in the other one he said 62 years? and in this one he said 63 years...... (weird.....)
That’s not an N64 game… that’s Donkey Kong on SNES
i saw this when i was very little XD
wow... right... sure you do, just like how you remember ww2 like it was in your own backyard...
they been playing for 62 years and they fbtf never went stale?
@Potatosaremyfriends1 buy a "nintendo liceanced rumble pack" for that extra advantage!
Let's see an xbox 360 or ps3 work in 64 years.
I used to thought those tip’s are for lucky winner to get Nintendo 64 games. But no, just hints for the games you have trouble playing.
Why don't they play multiplayer. It's Mario Party!
AHAHA i remember this!
@jwgilligan Same but i'm 17. It's kinda weird thinking not to long ago I was playing outside in my backyard with all my friends but at the same time I'm going to legally be an adult in a year. It's fucked up.
@theredmars We didn't all have rich parents who would buy us anything we whined for.
@jwgilligan me too im 15 and i feel old as will lol these were the good times
Just think, they're probably dead now :(
shawngetwomen I know right, God rest their souls 🙏
n64 that can run over 60 years? beat that sony!!!
I could use some tips! Or maybe some game recomendations! :) Any good n64 games? Bsides mario =P

Destrukshin how old are u now?

i wonder if those old peple are dead
Does any one know or remember any of these "game tips"?
is that how you hold the controller?!
The actors who plays two old men’s are actually make-up
Actually they're dead
I could only imagine the angry video game nerd watching this commercial. Like this is completely total bullshit.
To think that these games actually lasted 50+ hours and today's games hardly last half that time. So sad the world we live in now...
Bogus!
pause at 17 hahaahahahahahahaa
pause at 0:17 hahahahahhahaha
videogamepimp22 haha
It’s a multiplayer game, just get another controller
1st of all why dont they just buy another controller lol and how did their clothes grow
