Wow, I kinda forgot Stivern was pretty solid. Don't understand what happened between this and he's comeback. In there second fight he was almost like a ragdoll. No legs, no will to fight..

@@marathonog813 Yes it was. Nobody looks at wilder because he apparently has the most dangerous punching power, yet he faces 1 person above average and goes a full 12 rounds. He has little to no technique, and has never been taken for a dance like Fury will, or a a hard punch that Joshua would deliver. He loses both fights any night in any city.. America just wanted to get involved all chops
I watched this live & 'til this day' I still think this is Wilders best performance from a pure boxing standpoint.

@@brooklyn560 No he wasn't. He was a 1 dimensional plodder who won a title thanks to Vitali retiring and the fact that 99.999% of HWs are terrible today. He was just the "least worst". He done nothing much in this fight, he just kept shuffling forward with no guile or clue of how to beat Wilder.

Wtf? Stiverne's chin is made of diamond, dude got stunned and hit with some insanely powerful punches that would knock an elephant out multiple times... Can't believe he was still standing. Wilder clearly has a really good chin as well though, took some hard punches.

Corruption and protection from the WBC. they want the mega fight with Joshua but that collapsed because they wanted more money, they (his team) know wilder will lose to AJ and want to get big money for it. They have protected wilder since he first won the WBC title and not putting him in dangerous fights, ortiz was luck, almost messed everything up they are making sure he don't lose so they get the mega fight with AJ. this is why I know tyson fury will lose. A lot of people forgot that he broke his right hand in the 4th round in this fight! That was the reason why this fight went 12 rounds and didn't knock Stiverne out!

Stiverene took a lot of punishment. Wilder surprisingly fought a lot more reserved than his previous fights. Must have been because it was for the title. Funnily enough Stiverne popped dirty shortly after.

Amazing , Stiverne just stood in Front of him with no head movement and I lost count of the amount of big shots Wilder hit him with but he couldnt KO him , wilder is supposed to be the 1 punch KO artist but couldnt put Stiverne away when he was a target in front of him all night to be hit at will.

Stiverne should have stuck with going to the body. Wilder's tall and pretty skinny and with the fact that he hadn't been past the 4th at this point, that could have proved detrimental.

Nothing here to worry Fury. Very limited ABC opponent who's only 6'2" and Wilder's predictable attack rarely gets through. Fury is on a completely different dimension to Stiverne in terms of height and boxing skill. Unless Wilder has progressed and brings more to the table, Fury will take him apart.
