thanks for this video :) it helped a lot to kickstart search functionality with flutterflow. One update: a) Now with flutter 4.0, inside row we can't add listview directly if row is not wrapped inside container.
Super complete and flawless! Just maybe you can tell that an already create collection won't index automatically into Algolia.. But other than that, great job.
I think what I'd really like to see is a tutorial with either an algolia search or simple search with choice chips to filter on tags within a search request. For instance, someone searches for a business and/or a city.. and then can select a tag and it filters their results even more. I have no idea if flutterflow can do this, but if it can, please show me how :)
This was excellent! Just a note, @James .... the index name you choose in Algolia MUST be the same as the coillectio name in Flutterflow / Firestore. Else it will not work. Just thought I'd add this note.
Can the results be fetched dynamic? I mean, I can see search results without pressing enter button? And the search result is updated every time I change letter in the textfield?
Thx for this perfect tutorial, do I have to use Algolia in case of search for anything in Firebase. ex: I need to create a page to search for a student details
Hi James Thank you for this comprehensive explanation But I was wondering how to do it in subcollection Already made it works with firebase and algolia... but I couldn't activated in flutterflow.. only the main collection will appear
Thanks for the Video, but my search results are not displaying, event thought i ve followed every step in your video, and yes I want to learn no code development
Hello James, Thanks for clear tutorial videos they really help me. I want to ask one question. I want to store data from API calls in firestore for sake of cost efficieny. Do you have any recommendations for that?
great tutorial.. i have always been following your tutorials, especially on appgyver.... However... can you do a tutorial on building a fintech APP.... like a mobile banking application. this will be so much appreciated. thanks
didn't work. everything works except in the app itself when I type in the keywords in the textfield and enter there are no results, even though the searchable document exits in the algolia dashboard.
Thank you for the video James. Do you have idea how we can create live search for the cities of the world which works with google locations? In your tutorial, you say to hit enter. On the phone who will find and hit to enter? :)
wow...back to back flutterflow tutorials...loving them all...these tutorials accelerated my learning to a different level...thanks a lot
You are heros James, you can´t imagine enough the way you help unknown people. Thank you.

My absolute fucking hero! Thank you.
Tried it, works well as expected.... unlike other "simple search" videos, which are also case sensitive
Hi I appreciate your efforts where I can found developper for my project
Could you do a tutorial on FlutterFlow conditional visibility. Specifically mimicking a checkbutton functionality.
where did you get the deployment api?
Your tutorials for FlutterFlow are just brilliant. I can watch them all day, thank you so much. Could you please create a video for Algolia Recommend?
Thank you for this great tutorial

Same problem..
I fixed it by putting a text in 'dafault variable value
@@ZKHPrinsBernhard1 OK. I will see if it works for me too
@@ZKHPrinsBernhard1 check that your collection name is the same as your index
Did you ever get a result to this? I'm experiencing the same
Thank you for the video James.

Thank you for another great video. Is there a place to get more FlutterFlow templates than the ones they show when you create a project?
Great video!, I made all algolia and firestore work. But when I want to show the listview it doesn´t work. anyone knows?
Same problem here
Thank you sir
