I just got back into Yugioh recently, I found your channel Revz plus your channel is awesome just saying. I cant wait to buy Maze of Millennia booster box set just cause I want to build a deck around Flame Swordman archetype. I've bought many cards rencently just to be able to go play at a local tournament event or just to play with one of my friend who bought some cards recently too but I also bought these cards just to grow my collection too cause I have old archetype cards like from like between 2005 to 2023. The only problem I have is that the biggest community for Yugioh is like an hour from where I live but I'm realy down to do almost an hour of ride just to play Yugioh with some people instead of just playing Master Duel😅
@@Lyricaon idk how much it was tbh I just know that it was the main expensive card of the deck outside of the diabellstar package, still if you don't play rescue those are the only cards that are worth something imo
With Grapha and crimson resonator and that fusio-synchro card you could Synchro Chaos Angel Bystial Dis Pater or Baronne De Fleur, while fusioning Grapha Dragon Overlord, i play Red Dragon Archfiend Dark world, this card gonna be sick
With some of these reprints and how accessible they are I think I need a fresh pair of pants now... Finally I can make a stupid or shitty (we'll see) R-Ace deck without spending a lot on some hydrants. Also Ashoka Pillar for Mikanko and Armored Xyz, let's go!
Pretty cute of konami to reprint all the R-ACE cards before the deck becomes completely irrelevant in the face of fire king and snake eyes being the better fire sinful spoils good stuff decks.

I hope it won't go higher than, lets say, 15 in the short time, 30 in the long run (after phantom, only if the deck stays that strong and used). That again, also given it is not shortptinted. Am I too optimistic? :,)

You know its weird all the Flame Swordsman stuff excludes the Link-2 retrain that came out a few years ago, also they reprinted none of the old Flame Swordsman stuff (no OG Flame Swordsman in the set, so your going to have to get it separately from the most recent Speed Duel release, nor Dark Flare Knight [or Mirage Knight] despite it being supported by the new cards, which was only recently re-released in the 25th Anniversary Dark Crisis set) nor does it print any cards which Flame Swordsman related stuff uses (Ready Fusion, Instant Fusion, Fusion Armament, ect.). Also there is the fact that most of this stuff is just casual anime stuff, that won't see any competitive play, which is frustrating because it didn't have to be this way. I mean outside of Gold Pride pretty much every semi-recent TCG exclusive has been a competitive flop.
You can probably bring the new flame swordsman stuff to locals at least. Has consistency, sets up a decent interaction off a 1 card combo, so you fill that up with floodgates and handtraps and you probably have a decent time. Though nobody pulled the lv4 flame swordsman that actually is the 1 card starter.
Konami TCG if you are reading this, please please please stop the all rares 1 foil 3-4 ultras per box model. These sets are so unrewarding to open, we loved the 4 supers 1 secret, 5 ultras, and the 3 ultra 2 secrets models so much more. These rarity spreads in current sets like maze, toon chaos, and all of the deck build packs feel insulting at best and predatory towards the customer at worst. Please revisit the old pack models
Getting massive legendary duelist: duels from the deep vibes from this set. They needed to throw thrust into here to make it even really worth opening. Yes bonfire & rollback are good but I don’t think people are cracking boxes or cases for these lmao
Bonfire is gonna be incredibly popular, given how important FIRE has been in recent times, and it ain't low rarity. I wouldn't doubt that, at least for a short time after release, it'll be highly coveted

gearblade finally gets printed in the tcg just for isolde to get banned before infernoble could use it. unlucky. I might test out the earthbound deck for fun. though being locked into fusion and synchro only really makes it annoying.
@@babrad playing both is still good. We aren't forced to use as much gy resources by banishing thing with Phoenix blade and allows for otk going 2nd if played through all the interruptions and all our monsters get to attack twice.
@@Gilgamesh-em6ru are we even running Phoenix Blade any longer though? It was ran because isolde could dump it for free while also getting DDR synergy. I see no reason to run it now. On the other hand, Gearblade has a lot of potential, maybe trading spots with Angel Ring since it helps close games on the spot and makes Gearfried a self-sufficient negate on his own (Charles as well).
This set sucks. Can't even be happy about the reprints because they won't lower the prices since there are literally 3 cards in this set anyone could ever want

It is bad, outside of thrust, transaction and bonfire the set is pretty much all crap reprints and not too good new cards

The R-Ace core has been cheap since December. Idk why Konami even bothered. The money is in the Sinful Spoil package.

gearblade was a substitute for Isolde in the OCG due to Phoenix Blade being banned.

Nah vailant smashers is definitely worst. TTT and majespecter reprint is awesome but overall it’s definitely underwhelming.
This set adds some variety to the power crept synchros and some good reprints. It is an alright set.
