Special Booster 2.5 is going to drop in just a month and a half for the English audience. But BT20 drops in just 2 weeks from the release of this video! Because of that I'm starting with all the BT20 cards before closing out with the BT19 ones. The eighth video tackles all the misc. cards! Deathxmon! Gigaseadramon! And Raidenmon!
A HUGE Thank You to my Patrons!

Seadramon is such a cool digimon, one of my favs from the games.
Should see potentially more support in BT22.
Gigaseadramon is going to be a fun deck to play around with. While 5 is a heavy cost to pay, it might be worth it to avoid the overflow cost of the obvious choice for best Metalseadramon. X-antibody might be useful to evolve mid-attack, though you'll probably have to sequence it well with the other 4-5 different when attacking triggers the deck can have.
I can definitely see the ups though for using the ACE because you can evo on their turn, then evo up again on your turn for 2 memory - that's assuming Metalseadramon ACE isn't removed XD
@@DIGI-PANDA true, but Gigaseadramon just gives you that play if you evo with X-antibody. It'll play out one of the level 5s, and that threatens an Ace that can then go right into another GigaSeadramon.
@@bugking1413 Also an extremely valid and valuable play :3
Deathxmon, This set brought the final arc of the chronicle, without the moment when the protagonist had his digimon revived
Finale for SOC!
Is anyone else noticing the incredible OTK potential Gigaseadramon has? It's (When Attacking) would allow you to Play out EX8 Megaseadramon, Unsuspend Giga, Swing again, with a Yao you can place another Metalseadramon under it to suck the first one up to unsuspend, and Swing again.
If you can ADP somehow you’re good to go
raidenmon is the secondary lvl 6 of altea deck he litterally plays it in his match in the webnovel the line is solarmon blimpmon bulbmon raidenmon
every liberator deck has 2 lines their structured much like a starter deck the main line has the liberator tag the other does not for example violet is ghostmon bakemon phantomon and necromon
and the 2nd line is candlemon soulmon metalphantomon and reapermon
I hadn't actually read the webnovel yet, but that's good to know! I just didn't throw it in that support because it didn't have Liberator thrown into the trait.
Playing a DeathX build might be fun, and also finally was waiting for GigaSeadramon for a while tbf there was no MetalSeadra that was really good to evo off of, now I need Betamon X to comes in soon, need my son
Honestly, I love X Antibody searchers. Betamon X would accomplish that. Unless they refined another Crabmon X that finds DS cards as well.
DeathX seems neat. Being able to delete your own digimon and then use the dex counter to evolve seems like a fun trick.
Can see the Megaseadramon X as a good card. Can fit in a blue soup X-antibody while completely power creep bt 9 weregaru X.
I'm likely going to start theory crafting a dexdorugoramon build. It seems more fun now.
Finally Gigaseadramon
To stop the haters, I think a new Miragegaogamon is necessary - potentially Miragegaogamon ACE?
I love seadramon and I've been labbing a lot with it. Its so awkward to play as a tribal deck.
The new metalseadramon ace is the only good base for giga and it costs 4 already from anything but the ex8 megaseadramon. So if you go into mega X it's going to cost you 6 memory to go into giga, or 5 with an X antibody swing. Its so expensive and clunky I can't help but feel bandai didn't want to push the archetype when they made gallant X cost 1 over gallant or 4 overall and it's an undeniably stronger card.
If you pass turn doing the combo most decks will sneeze your board away and abuse the ace overflow.
It feels like the best way to build it might be combining it with some of the DS line to have a more diverse game plan and prevent them from answering your ace targets as easily, or using the generic aquatic cards to try gain more memory.
As a big Seadramon fan i can't help but be sad that Seadramon tribal feels clunky as hell just because the 6s (though powerful) are so expensive.
Definitely feels clunky! It needs a dedicated searcher. While you can use Sangomon, it doesn't help that you want to also sprinkle some Liberator cards in. But there's no dedicated Crabmon or Betamon searcher that helps. I think inevitably, the level 3's all need to have a potential double add, and then an X-Antibody that can add a trait of the Digimon and the X-Antibody.
But right now, I do feel a small fracture with Gigaseadramon because it largely ignores all the DS stuff that was introduced in EX8.
@@DIGI-PANDA We should in theory get a Betamon in EX09 (because it was on the orignal V-Pet) so I'm hoping that is the searcher we want, and then I'm hoping we get Betamon X-Antibody as well as a Promo or in another set.
Using gigaseadramon with the chronicle base is SO GOOD! Including the police ryudamon with Shuu = 5 checks with a 32k gigaseadramon that gains reboot and blocker
There was a lot of mention of this one! I think it'd be hilarious. I just wish the police Ryudamon wasn't only on Kyokyomon.
Gigaseadramon X can be a awesome Otk deck
Yao Qinglan says hello :3
For those looking to do something explicitly *bad* can I point out the The Apostle of Doom Descends!' "would leave" clause:
If you were to have BT-9 DexDoragoramon leave the field, you can potentially activate this to play DeathX and then it's own ON DELETE to have another one get played. With effects like Bt-17 DexDorugreymon to ensure it happens.
Love it! I feel most players are going to be on BT17 now though :/
I really hope we get a Betamon X-Antibody in the near future for the Seadramon archetype.
That'd be exciting! It does exist. I'm surprised there aren't some X Antibody type Digimon for others.
Raidenmon was very much intended to pad out the Invisimon deck as its secondary mega.
But at the same time, if one just has a better level 6, its not that worth it imo. Despite its ability to spit out a body being pretty decent, id rather just run something else entirely.
that and altea litterally plays it in his chapter
I've been told it was a secondary mega in the chapter Altea was playing. I hadn't read the webnovel mainly because I had a negative experience with Digimon Seekers that I didn't wanna go through machine reads again. That being said, if it had the liberator trait, I would've been more inclined to add it to Altea.
@@DIGI-PANDA one the webnovel of liberator is actually human translated they learned their lesson from seekers and aslong as your on the english version of the website it shout be find
@@michaelliggett1622 Oh thank god. I might actually read it then.
gigaseadramon is amazing! but cost 5 and need metalseadra or x antibody, and only 1 metalseadra is good... but is ace xDD
maybe that is the reason why gigaseadra have reboot, blocker and sec+1
That's the dilemma I have. I think if you can somehow retain turn, it's really nice. Having the X-Antibody as you attack with a level 5 means that you lose out on that inheritable of sucking and unsuspending if you're using Megaseadramons. So going into the level 6 is always advised. The only downside, as you said, only 1 Metalseadramon is actually good.
Maybe one day we'll have a Seadramon deck. At this time it not fully there. Only 1 good MetalSeadramon with alright lv.5 and lower
I started theory crafting a deck profile for Gigaseadramon.. and I honestly felt like I didn't need any of the X-Antibody support besides Gigaseadramon. Is that a problem?
@DIGI-PANDA I mean, X-Antibody should help support what the deck needs help with or play style, like how Tyrannomon X helps make the new style work. At the moment, we have good aquatic support, so their isn't any need for the X-Antibody line, but we got it for a deck that honestly doesn't exist, i.e., a pure Seadramon deck.
since i heard your adverse to the webcomic due to seekers let me clear up some misunderstanding
the liberator webnovel is human translated not ai as long as your on the english version of the website it fine
also if your just reading the comic your missing out on a lot since the webcomic and webnovel tell a complete story the comic only focus on shoto and company the webnovel focus on debug team andunchained and on top of that on the main website their are tip articles which provide context and world building
Noted! Will check it out.
You can't sit here and convince me that Aquatic X Antibodies were not meant to be played in Deep Savers.
You can! I just wish they had the DS trait too for full value
Wdym Misc. Cards? GigaSeadra is the GOAT
I could've made a video for just Gigaseadramon but it would've covered maybe 3 minutes of content before leading me nowhere. I like to keep videos around 6-8.
@@DIGI-PANDA I know! I'm just kidding hahah
@ It's ok :3 I understand where all my viewers come from.
Metalseadramon felt for a long time like the worst level 6 of the old ones.
For awhile it definitely was - then the rare bumped up in price.
