BTS is in a league on their own. Unlike most Kpop groups, BTS writes most of the lyrics themselves, and the meaning behind the lyrics is deep. This isn’t your average bubblegum Kpop. Their music saved me. Welcome to your journey!
Real. every time i watch reactors laugh at the snickers, I laugh for a little bit, and then I vividly remember the save me comic, and my smile disappears so fast
It’s a famous “I’m fine~ Save Me” ambigram (aka word-design carrying different meanings when viewed from diff perspectives), originally created by SOS (Samaritans of Singapore) back in June 2013 to highlight “hidden” mental health crises. According to them “Pain isn’t always obvious, but the signs are there if you read them. To show how we often miss the warning signs, we created ambigrams and printed the ads with the logo and tagline upside down in magazines. At first glance, the reader sees a positive phrase. But when the ad is inverted, the copy reveals a sentiment quite the opposite - revealing the hidden feelings of those who are lost and depressed.” So picture a person who choose this ambigram as a tattoo body art: The outside world reads it as a confident message of affirmation VS the owner (from his/her unique physical perspective looking down at it) who reads its true meaning as a private silent cry for help. BTS are huge proponents for social & personal mental health awareness.
If you find out about why the snicker bars in this mv, you won't laugh about it. Every inch of props, stage set ups, back ground and choreography movements are there with stories, symbolisms and purposes.
BTS is the best group with the biggest fan base for a reason. Other groups you may be watching have seen their success and are emulating it, but not quite there. You've got seven young men with innate talent, hard hard work to be the best and push through many barriers, they write and produce their own music around themes presented in trilogies, as well as many independent songs. Nothing is fake, they rarely use green screens, they don't lip sync. There are 300+ songs, group, vocal line, rap line, solos. They have a Japanese discography, are ambassadors, diplomats, have spoken at the UN and with Biden. They've won top awards in Korea and the US, the only one left is a Grammy. And they are the first Korean group ever to do this. So, stick with BTS!
These guys are literally incredible and they are legendary for sure. Also there is no CGI in this video from the floors falling and water plus the fire was all real. That sculpture was real as well.
You were right about Jungkook facing himself as the hooded, masked figure. The extended version of the mv makes it clearer. As with the rest of the layers in the song and imagery, it’s more complex than it appears and feeds into their explorations of Jungian psychology. Nothing is random or purely for aesthetic effect in a BTS video, everything has meaning and often a lot darker than you might think… the Snickers for example are not a happy image, they’re symbolic of abandonment in the BTS Universe.
Really appreciate that! I do love editing, but at the end of the day I gotta appreciate every bit of work everyone does to make these crazy videos a reality.
There was a making of Fake Love and I really think you would enjoy watching it. It shows that this was not done on a green screen they created each of these rooms and created each members story with each scene. The words behind V with the phones says (Save Me) but if you look at it upside down it says (Im Fine).
They are an amazing artists that really don’t get enough credit for what they do. The phrase you asked about is Save Me it’s an ambigram for I’m Fine ( they have songs for both Save Me and I’m Fine and are great songs). They really have deep thoughts and meanings to their lyrics and videos. You would appreciate Spring Day, Idol and Blood,Sweat, and Tears they are great MVs. I would also recommend watching their dance practices for Fake Love, Idol, and Blood,Sweat, and Tears their choreography is really stellar. The thing about BTS is that while they have their fun pop songs, the majority of their discography has so much more meaningful lyrics and topics that it is easy for them to be dismissed as just boy band/K-pop. They are true artists that use their success to help others, their messages of self love and positivity have made countless impacts on their fans (myself included). Finding their music when I needed it the most has saved me in more ways then I can count, and their love for their fans is no joke. Have fun diving into BTS, you won’t regret it!
I think you'd love the MV for Save Me (Spoiler: It's a one-shot) and the funny making of-video. 😂 If you want a phenomenally shot gym song try Not Today and/or NO Kinetic Manifesto version, for a green screen extravaganza go for Idol (it's completely on purpose and there's a sarcastic reason for it 😏) and for artistic perfection it has to be Blood, Sweat And Tears. 🤯 💜
finallyy thank you for your reaction at 14:50, that is Save Me but written in such a way that if you flip it, it becomes I'm Fine, some deep shit ryt there The fire, water and chocolate are actually related to the BU storyline (BTS Universe) which is pretty cool and traumatizing TT pls react to ON, Black Swan, Blood Sweat & Tears and Heartbeat also some rapline solo work like Suga's Daechwita & Shadow, RM's WildFlower & Still Life, Jhope's More & Ego you'll find lotta great stuff from bts, they are not called the best for no reason
Some of the symbolism might be confusing because it all ties back to their ongoing story line the Bangtan Universe (BU) an ongoing story spanning many years/albums/mvs and extends into short stories, video games, webtoons, more. Ive never seen a group put attention to detail and easter eggs in the way BTS does. Its a masterclass in quality on all levels. Save Me is a call to an older song (Save Me which is filmed in a SINGLE SHOT no cuts!) and a future song I'm Fine (no MV but it is a mirror image of Save Me, the song hook is the Save me hook played backwards and the lyrics mirror each other in many spots). They have behind the scenes as you found for all their MVs. I'd recommend Blood Swear and Tears one of their other EPIC videos.
BTS is art. Be it their lyrics, their music, their themes, their choreography, their MVs or related media - it all ties together to give you an amazing experience.
And now you know why they are not just the biggest in Kpop but the Biggest Global Group on the planet in the Top 10 Global Artist List, in fact the only Group to that list as the other 9 are all Global Solo arts.
Many times there are explanation videos that you can watch. You will learn that nothing is included by accident. Most of their lyrics have very deep meaning which is what makes BTS amazing artists!
Loved your reaction. The boys are so awesome in their music/dancing that they will thrilled you out of this world. They are hard working, kind individuals, and have such unique talents that they will amaze you. I really enjoy their music/dance and gives me a sense of well being and I enjoy the music. I am glad you are liking them and welcome to the world of BTS and enjoy your journey. Stay safe.❤😊
Gosh I'd love to see you react to Dope, and Interlude: Shadow I want to hear about all the editing tricks they used explained. Also, no need to be so surprised the most popular group does good music and lyrics with good videos hehe 🤭
The explanation, water, fire and snikker are part of the BTS universe trilogy, it has a connection with the previous videos, if you see the videos before this one you will understand why J-hope was laying on so many snikkers
Black Swan or ON Kinetic Manifesto next. But as far as what to watch in the long run....their discography is HUGE (collectively 400 songs by now). And they cover so many different vibes and sounds. Also -- there is a whole play list for their story line that starts back in 2015. Fake Love was a major plot point in that story -- hence all the symbolism. But the storyline includes short films, a web toon, and books in addition to certain music videos. Other songs/music videos to check out: - Fire (a push back at the strict South Korean norms that put immense pressure on their youth) - Mic Drop (a clap back at those who bullied them when they were industry underdogs) - Airplane Pt 2 (about being modern-day mariachi) - Blood, Sweat, and Tears - Spring Day (a song that has come to commemorate the Sewol Ferry tragedy wherein 300 people -- mostly students -- drowned while the captain abandoned ship and left them to die.) But they have SO many songs that don't have videos are absolutely amazing. Songs with good lyric videos: - The Truth Untold - Mikrokosmos - Tomorrow - Silver Spoon (Bapsae -- a criticism of South Korean society with loads of wordplay, double enendre, and Korean idioms) A pretty good fan-made video: - Louder Than Bombs Countless amazing performances...
just… i didn’t think i’d actually like it, i didn’t think it would be this good! heeheeheehee! i can’t even… i’m an artist and have faced up to scoldings most of my life from art-peers about enjoying mainstream stuff. it’s not actually good, people are just sheep. but i mean… i never understood what kind of hoops they think people are gonna jump through to convince the public to love something mediocre when there are artists like this out there making music. one hit wonders are one thing, but when someone’s a legend, it’s because they’re legendary. and BTS? that group is a legend.
I think it's funny when folks come in skeptical but appreciate the open mindedness 😂 I was like that too, at the beginning. But... They became global superstars against kind of a lot of odds. They're very, very good at what they do 😁 People dismiss them because they're popular sometimes instead of thinking about why they might be popular.
The amount of genuine joy that I felt watching this is insane. The more the time pass, the more I'm stunning by the art of BTS. They are simply the best🔥
“i didn’t expect bts to be this good” bts being one of the largest kpop groups in the world alongside blackpink 😂 War of Hormone is my favorite bts song :]
You could literally pick any dance reaction and it will be amazing when it comes to BTS. If you are into the video and editing, Save Me (which is what is says on the mirror; flip it around and it then says I'm Fine) is a great continuous shot video. Blood, Sweat and Tears is another great story concept video of BTS. And there are just too many more to write here. Great reaction, thank you! Army always appreciates an honest and respectful reaction of BTS.
I highly recommend Spring Day, Blood Sweat & Tears, I NEED U, Run, and Save Me. They’re all brilliant songs with incredible music videos! Side note: BTS also has a storyline that is depicted in many of their music videos (along with other forms of media), so I highly recommend looking into the BU (BTS Universe) as well!! Thank you for the great reaction!💜
@@rofaidafathi645 The wings short films are apart of the BU, yeah! But there's ALOT more. The amount of information they divided across so many different platforms (the MV's, short films, highlight reels, videos that were only played at their concerts, their mobile game BTS Universe Story (which has since been taken off the app store/been discontinued), an original webtoon, and even the notes in their physical albums (later all compiled into a book titled "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: The Notes") are ALL apart of the BU. The story is never told fully in any one of these mediums, but is revealed in pieces that ARMY had to put together over the years. There's been many youtube videos explaining the story in full/the timeline, but the video to do this the most coherently is probably xCeleste's video titled "BTS Storyline Summary + Explained 2020 Update", so if you'd like to understand the complete story, I recommend watching that! There's also many ARMY-made websites that breakdown the story and provide lists of all the videos/content included in the BU if you'd like to dive into the rabbit hole yourself (I recommend the "Bangtan Universe Guide" on the US BTS ARMY website for a comprehensive list)! As you can probably tell, the BU has a lot of layers to it and can be pretty overwhelming for people delving into it for the first time, but it has some truly remarkable storytelling that is well worth looking into. It's also getting it's own K-drama coming this year, which is very exciting! ⚠Lastly, please note that the BU covers very heavy themes including suicide, abuse, and homicide, so please be aware of that before deciding if you want to explore it or not.⚠
BTS works with LUMPENS (Korean video production company) a lot. Some of my other favorite music videos from a cinematography or editing perspective are "Daechwita" and "Haegeum" (these are solo songs by one of the rappers), "Spring Day," "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" (all by LUMPENS) and Interlude: Shadow" (this one is directed by Oui Kim who did Jimin's Set Me Free Pt. II, and it has a few classic film references if you're into that). The surprise about liking the song is pretty normal haha - I think that's common for a lot of people who take a chance to watch/listen to them. Even if they don't become full-on fans, they usually find songs in BTS's vast discography that they vibe with.
you may enjoy the behind the scenes for their music videos. you get some sense of how they shot things and the equipment used. most of this video is practical effects 👍💜
All seven members are extremely talented and know what they are doing 😊. You NEED to go down this rabbit hole. Not only for their music, but you will love their videos. I’ll list some I think you might find interesting from your background. The window says “Save Me” and rotated it says “I’m Free”. Both are names of BTS songs. Yes, Jung Kook running is real. They have behind the scenes videos. Try: “Black Swan” “Run” “Run BTS” dance practice “Blood Sweat and Tears” “Not Today” “I Need U” to start They are just as good live, maybe better. Individually: Jin - The Astronaut Jung Kook - Standing Next to You V - Fri(end)s Jimin - Like Crazy RM - Wildflowers Suga aka Agust D - Daechwita (this is the first of a trilogy) J-Hope - hard to pick because he just released a mini album… old or new? There is actually a docuseries that recently started on Amazon Prime. Each week has one song from his album and he is taking people back to his roots of street dancing. It is really interesting. You should check it out. I’m going to give an older suggestion, “More”
15:03 it’s says Save me (it’s another one of their songs) and if you flip it it says I’m fine which is also another one of their songs (so two songs in one)
They are artist And their artistry is on another level than other kpop You should definitely react to more BTS There is a song called save me by BTS which is shoti n one go I'm sure you will like it
Please watch the BTS Solos: Daechwita, Haegum, Amygdala - Agust D Arson, More - JHope Wildflower - RM Slow dancing - V Standing next to you, Seven - Jungkook The Astronaut - Jin 💜 And of course: BTS - ON Kinetic Manifesto Film, Blood sweat and tears, Black Swan, Fire and Dope 💜 That's are all amazing videos 👍
God I hope you do more BTS I need to learn more from you! LOVE your reactions, thank you. I think you'd enjoy the making of for Blood Sweat and Tears, and the one for Save Me (that's what was written in the window by the way), the cameraman is a ninja! 💜
Hi , i also like cinematography and I did understand all what you say lol , and this is easy the best MV of that year( 2018) , I wouldn’t change anything , the even did a good one later with a better ending following t he story line with is an extended ver ( I also recommend it ). Bts had done one of the best MVs that i had never change anything , through the the years. This is the list: 2015- i need you ( full ver 19+) MV ( still not the best of that year but ofc best if you look into kpop industry , specially since they had low budget and they couldn’t see themselves in the screen , they didn’t have those cameras , so the creativity of their team is on the max , also they surprise with their acting) 2016 - the best of that year : blood sweat and tears MV, again I wouldn’t change anything of this , this is when creativity get the budget. Until this day still one of the best for the 1727272 references that you see if different piece of arts, like movies , paintings, and myths and ofc the referreces of the book Demian are really clear since is promoted by being inspired by that. Same in that year we have a solo Mv call “boys meets evil” Intro MV ( it’s just one members, the second rapper ) this is when you put a pro dancer with a good director and the enough budget , so good 2017- the best of that year - spring day ( you just have to watch it ) and the special mention is their MV not today. 2018- best of the year : this one , and again their intro MV is also the best too , cuz of the interesting choreo with the amazing takes and lighting and edition, call singularity ( is with the one that sang first dude really good with the camera ) Other that doesn’t let behind in the animation department is forever rain MV by RM ( the solo of the first Rapper) if you want to see an animated b and w painting this is the one. 2019- one of the best - shadow intro Mv ( this is with one member too, that last rapper) I wouldn’t change anything to this one. Persona Mv intro ( again with one member , the first rapper ) even tho the concepts of some shoots is something that we see in a lot of rappers specially in that year , the quality is still up , specially if you understand what he is talking about and the references of their first intro song, nice special effect that sopuse to look “fake” . ON MV ( the issue with this one with me , is that you see the typical error that happen when you have too much budget to your disposition , is still good but I would change some shoot and use better the place they were in. They special effects are good tho ) black Swan ( this is a really good one and creative one with the lighting but again I would still change some shoots like the second/ last verse( it’s me being picky cuz I know their standards ) , but still pretty good , you can tell the same who did fake love and bst worked on it) Other one in animation department one of the best too, it’s their “we are bulletproof the eternal” MV ( to get this one better you need to see all their MVs ) 2020- best of the year -Daewchita MV by agust D ( the same rapper of the shadow video dude really creative with his stuff lol) again you have to see it, the simetry and the coloring is chef kiss. 2022- one of the best of the year - yet to come MV ( a lot of people even fans don’t hype up this Mv much , don’t know why , is amazing the camera work and the colored with the scenery and the shoot using special effect to represent the shoots of their previous MVs. Again good actors. ( I can’t believe it didn’t won’t MV of the year at the Grammys if this doesn’t tell you how corrupted they are , no one will ) The best of the year - wild flower - by Rm , amazing camera direction with edition and using of the scenery , a live painting ( this guy loves art painting ). The shoots are so good following a nice musicality with the song. The second best in creativity is More MV by jhope ( the second rapper) the creativity with the colored and the shoots with the musicality and the real use of X raid , so good 2023 - the best of the year - amygdala MV and second haegum MV both by agust D ( again this guy is really creative ) Amygdala my be more simple but the use of the camera with the edition and acting of the dude knowing that he has to act stuff that aren’t mentally easy for him , gets the cake, so good there is no one I know who doesn’t feel anything while watching that. On the other hand haegum MV is more of his previous Mv daewchita , nice colored , camera , simetry , and action scenes 2024 - one of the best so far - NEURON MV by jhope ( even tho he is not in the MV , he is part of the creative process ) the editing is amazing with the coloring following a great musicality with the song , and again if you understand the song and jhopes real story you will get a better taste of the MV. Ofc Bts as group as solo has some other nice MVs the quality still there , some of them some quality got down or be predictable, specially since 2021 pop songs , So I just put the ones that went beyond the comfort and surpass even the most creative teams out there not just kpop. And all the industry know , that’s why don’t be surprise after those MVs that I told you that a lot of groups and known western artist use the same techniques and theme as those. Ofc it could be someone who work in those projects got to work there too , but still , you can tell. Even with “big stars” like TS , Ariana , etc.
If u would like to know more about them personally and not just their songs then i highly recommend their guide by Taylor Mari. Its called "A guide to bts members: The Bangtan 7" ☺
Loved your reaction! You should watch behind the scenes of this video- that is a real two-story set. Someone might have mentioned this already but if you look at the “save me” on the window and turn upside down, it reads “I’m fine” - both are names of other BTS songs.
"If you can do something on the set, do it" seems to be the moto of BTS' creative teams. They've built massive sets or taken over actual locations, and only safety or weather limits them with fire or explosions 😂
BTS loves their practical effects. The Snickers is part of the Bangtan Universe, a storyline that spans a miriad of videos. So it has two meanings. Spoilers if you want.😅 Other videos that you will like: Blood, Sweat and Tears ON Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima (long single shots and drones) Black Swan Solo works Jimin Set Me Free pt 2 Jungkook Standing Next To You (shot by Tanu Muino a visual homage to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet) RM Wildflower J-hope More and Arson Agust D Daechwita and Haegeum V Slow Dancing Enjoy 😘💜🫶🏻🫰🏻
I really liked this reaction! I appreciate how you focus on everything, including song, lyrics, and dance even though you're a video editor. Thank you!
What's even better, you can listen to their solos and their music as a group and it's all pure art. People stick with Dynamite and Butter, and they don't do them justice, in my opinion.
The MV contains a lot of references to the BU (BTS Universe). It’s a story line that runs through a lot of their albums. An alternate universe where 7 boys (played by and named after BTS boys), have a lot of traumatic stuff happen to them, and Jin one day gains the ability to go back to the past and try to change things. Anyway, that’s a whole other rabbit hole 😅
The funny thing about me is I try to be a critic when listening to music, but I end up loving everything 😂 out of every video I've reacted to on my channel I think there's only been 1 or 2 videos I wasn't crazy about, but still appreciated them!
As with most MV, they don't necessarily have the dance choreography, like Spring Day, which is like watching poetry in motion in their dance practice, although they do have a choreography for a lot of their songs. I was attracted to BTS for making history in 2017 for first tile a Korean artist performed at the AMA, American Music Awards with DNA. Their ability to sing, rap and dance while performing constantly changing formations was different than what you see from past Western artists. The amount of training that they must do to pull this off must have been tremendous. I watched their dance practice from DANGER and immediately became Army!
The "Save me" scene has two meanings. It is a reference to two other BTS songs Save Me and I'm Fine. If you look at the part that says save me upside down it says I'm Fine. 14:54
yes that is true and it's one way to understand it plus there's another meaning as well but only certain people 'in the know' will get it's a contention to the BU (Bantang Universe) were J Hope's character goes to the fair with his mother and she give's him a snickers bar and says 'wait here from me'. But she never returns for him.
You might like the super short video of them filming the video. It's a BTS Episode posted by BangtanTV. If you search Fake Love filming mv it should come up.
The writing on the mirror is an ambigram which reads "Save Me" and "I'm Fine" which both happen to be BTS songs. I love "Save Me". BTS songs have deep meanings so we all need to pay attention to in their videos. Please pause for a sec at what you think may be the end as just when you think the video is over it's not & many BTS songs link to others. So many to recommend as BTS covers so many genres. 😊 I recommend "Save Me" Omv & the making of save me videos. Very good.
Such a good and detailed reaction!! Thank you! I feel like you would really enjoy the behind the scenes videos of their MV shoots so you should definately check them out! I think you would also like Blood, Sweat and Tears! That video is amazing! Hope to see more reactions soon!
You did really well as this was your first watch and you are not aware of just how deep BTS go story-wise. Is their a story? Oh yes! There is the song story, the album trilogy concept and the MV also has references to the fictional storyline, the Bangtan Universe or BU, which is an overriding story that started in the MV for I Need U in 2015, still running today, and it combines MVs from multiple albums, short stories, a webtoon called Save Me, Notebooks and a mobile game. If you are interested ARMY can guide you to see everything in the right order or you can cheat and watch an explanation video 😂 BYS music is really diverse, not just pop. I have not looked back yet to see what you have seen so far but I will. If you want a glimpse at their diverse musical style I thoroughly recommend BTS Festa Room Live 2021. Snippets from songs from their debut in 2013 to 2021. Also, they are at their best live. They do all of the choreo whilst singing live, no lip synching, and their vocals are better live than in the studio. If looking for live performances I recommend the channel Enjoy BTS More for high quality videos and accurate English subs. Can't wait to see you react to more BTS or their solo works (RM, Jin, Suga aka Agust D, J Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook).
Honestly BTS aren't good, they are simply the best. You have seen nothing yet 👀💜
Thank goodness I read the rest of your comment.
Ikr😂 @@crystalsnow1138
I was scared for a second there 😂
I was half way reading your comment and I was ready to fight 😂
Note to self! Read everything before starting to write a fighting paragraph 😅😅
BTS is in a league on their own. Unlike most Kpop groups, BTS writes most of the lyrics themselves, and the meaning behind the lyrics is deep. This isn’t your average bubblegum Kpop. Their music saved me. Welcome to your journey!
New viewers: Snickers?! LOL
ARMY: Snickers...😭 (Parental trauma, noooo, OMG, that poor guy.)
Real. every time i watch reactors laugh at the snickers, I laugh for a little bit, and then I vividly remember the save me comic, and my smile disappears so fast
For Real!!!!!

No CGI. MV is an extended storyline of BTS BU.
One of the few BTS' depressing emo hip-hop songs.
If you find out about why the snicker bars in this mv, you won't laugh about it. Every inch of props, stage set ups, back ground and choreography movements are there with stories, symbolisms and purposes.

I think he's watched it already because he included scenes from it when he was talking about JK running in the hallway. 😊
Cool as always
i recommend mv for blood sweat and tears. amazing. bts is bigger than k pop. not even a category for them anymore. your in for a treat
uppp
On the window, it says ‘save me’, but if you look at it upside down it says ‘I’m fine’
Check out “Black Swan” and “On” Kinetic Manifest Film

I have always liked the chorus of this song, Jimin's voice intertwined with Jin's is surprising.
finallyy thank you for your reaction
at 14:50, that is Save Me but written in such a way that if you flip it, it becomes I'm Fine, some deep shit ryt there
The fire, water and chocolate are actually related to the BU storyline (BTS Universe) which is pretty cool and traumatizing TT
pls react to ON, Black Swan, Blood Sweat & Tears and Heartbeat
also some rapline solo work like Suga's Daechwita & Shadow, RM's WildFlower & Still Life, Jhope's More & Ego
you'll find lotta great stuff from bts, they are not called the best for no reason
And the vocal line.
I'd include RM's Persona since Persona, Shadow and Ego are a trilogy. 💜
Some of the symbolism might be confusing because it all ties back to their ongoing story line the Bangtan Universe (BU) an ongoing story spanning many years/albums/mvs and extends into short stories, video games, webtoons, more.
Keep going. SILVER ARMY here, 65! Thanks for reacting to them.
Thank you for watching!
BTS is art. Be it their lyrics, their music, their themes, their choreography, their MVs or related media - it all ties together to give you an amazing experience.
Dude If you're liking this mv then I don't know what will be your reaction to BTS Blood Sweat and tears MV, cause it's insanely good.
And now you know why they are not just the biggest in Kpop but the Biggest Global Group on the planet in the Top 10 Global Artist List, in fact the only Group to that list as the other 9 are all Global Solo arts.
BTS!!!! More!!!
Bro they hold no.1 position in kpop.
Welcome to Bangtan world
❤️🔥💜❤️🔥
They also released 'FAKE LOVE' MV (Extended ver.)
Yes
With more scenes, with noises and with real instruments, more like rock version
Your correct ot says save me then if you flip it upside down it says im fine which its another song of bts.
Gosh I'd love to see you react to Dope, and Interlude: Shadow I want to hear about all the editing tricks they used explained.
Also, no need to be so surprised the most popular group does good music and lyrics with good videos hehe 🤭
WELCOME TO THE BTS ARMY :D THIS WAS THE FIRST SONG I HEARD OF THEM INSTANTLY FELL IN LOVE... NEW SUBSCRIBER
Thank you!! I'm excited to dive into their music. I have so much to watch and listen to 😄
The explanation, water, fire and snikker are part of the BTS universe trilogy, it has a connection with the previous videos, if you see the videos before this one you will understand why J-hope was laying on so many snikkers
Other songs/music videos to check out:
- Fire (a push back at the strict South Korean norms that put immense pressure on their youth)
- Mic Drop (a clap back at those who bullied them when they were industry underdogs)
- Airplane Pt 2 (about being modern-day mariachi)
- Blood, Sweat, and Tears
- Spring Day (a song that has come to commemorate the Sewol Ferry tragedy wherein 300 people -- mostly students -- drowned while the captain abandoned ship and left them to die.)
But they have SO many songs that don't have videos are absolutely amazing. Songs with good lyric videos:
- The Truth Untold
- Mikrokosmos
- Tomorrow
- Silver Spoon (Bapsae -- a criticism of South Korean society with loads of wordplay, double enendre, and Korean idioms)
A pretty good fan-made video:
- Louder Than Bombs
Countless amazing performances...
I hate that everyone laughs at the snickers for me the most powerful shot of this MV
Thank you for the great reaction. Please watch Blood, Sweat, & Tears.
The transitions from the mic drop MV with steve aoki will gonna make you cry, I swear it!
just… i didn’t think i’d actually like it, i didn’t think it would be this good! heeheeheehee! i can’t even…
i’m an artist and have faced up to scoldings most of my life from art-peers about enjoying mainstream stuff. it’s not actually good, people are just sheep. but i mean… i never understood what kind of hoops they think people are gonna jump through to convince the public to love something mediocre when there are artists like this out there making music. one hit wonders are one thing, but when someone’s a legend, it’s because they’re legendary. and BTS? that group is a legend.
Also the water and the fire are real no CGI
Wait until you see the MASTERPIECE that is called Black Swan!! By bts
I think it's funny when folks come in skeptical but appreciate the open mindedness 😂 I was like that too, at the beginning. But... They became global superstars against kind of a lot of odds. They're very, very good at what they do 😁
People dismiss them because they're popular sometimes instead of thinking about why they might be popular.
Come on, BP are not at their level (not hating on them)
BP?? Bfr
Along side? Get real.
BTS members :
3:30 RM (Leader).
6:51 j-hope.
7:25 Jimin.
7:41 Jin.
13:30 Suga.
18:04 Jung Kook (Maknae).
20:12, 20:14, 20:15 V.
What's bts universe? Is it like Wings short films.l've seen this, but what l can understand from it.
⚠Lastly, please note that the BU covers very heavy themes including suicide, abuse, and homicide, so please be aware of that before deciding if you want to explore it or not.⚠
I'm excited to watch it..thank you for your explanation 💜💜
@@rofaidafathi645 No problem! Glad I could help!💜
Thank you! You help me see new details, like the key hole transition. You are fun to watch again with! 💞💜💞
That keyhole transition was crazy! Thank you for watching :)
Thank you for finally checking out BTS!☺💜💜💜
Of course they are best bts is biggest boy group in world for a reason 💜
you may enjoy the behind the scenes for their music videos. you get some sense of how they shot things and the equipment used. most of this video is practical effects 👍💜
Try:
“Black Swan”
“Run”
“Run BTS” dance practice
“Blood Sweat and Tears”
“Not Today”
“I Need U” to start
They are just as good live, maybe better.
Individually:
Jin - The Astronaut
Jung Kook - Standing Next to You
V - Fri(end)s
Jimin - Like Crazy
RM - Wildflowers
Suga aka Agust D - Daechwita (this is the first of a trilogy)
J-Hope - hard to pick because he just released a mini album… old or new? There is actually a docuseries that recently started on Amazon Prime. Each week has one song from his album and he is taking people back to his roots of street dancing. It is really interesting. You should check it out. I’m going to give an older suggestion, “More”
These are very
good suggestions.
⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
up up
15:03 it’s says Save me (it’s another one of their songs) and if you flip it it says I’m fine which is also another one of their songs (so two songs in one)
upp
Thanks for checking out BTS's 'FAKE LOVE' MV
They are artist
And their artistry is on another level than other kpop
You should definitely react to more BTS
There is a song called save me by BTS which is shoti n one go I'm sure you will like it
I recommend you check the making/behind the video and will totally love it.
Please watch the BTS Solos:
Daechwita, Haegum, Amygdala - Agust D
Arson, More - JHope
Wildflower - RM
Slow dancing - V
Standing next to you, Seven - Jungkook
The Astronaut - Jin 💜
And of course: BTS - ON Kinetic Manifesto Film, Blood sweat and tears, Black Swan, Fire and Dope 💜
That's are all amazing videos 👍
The mirror says save me and upside down it says I'm fine
15:04 yes it says ,,save me" and fun fact: actuelly when you turn this at 180 degrees there you see ,,i'm fine". ITS SO COOL HOW THEY DID THAT!!!😮💜
God I hope you do more BTS I need to learn more from you! LOVE your reactions, thank you. I think you'd enjoy the making of for Blood Sweat and Tears, and the one for Save Me (that's what was written in the window by the way), the cameraman is a ninja!
💜
There are always a good message in every BTS song💜
Hi , i also like cinematography and I did understand all what you say lol , and this is easy the best MV of that year( 2018) , I wouldn’t change anything , the even did a good one later with a better ending following t he story line with is an extended ver ( I also recommend it ). Bts had done one of the best MVs that i had never change anything , through the the years.
This is the list:
2015- i need you ( full ver 19+) MV ( still not the best of that year but ofc best if you look into kpop industry , specially since they had low budget and they couldn’t see themselves in the screen , they didn’t have those cameras , so the creativity of their team is on the max , also they surprise with their acting)
2016 - the best of that year : blood sweat and tears MV, again I wouldn’t change anything of this , this is when creativity get the budget. Until this day still one of the best for the 1727272 references that you see if different piece of arts, like movies , paintings, and myths and ofc the referreces of the book Demian are really clear since is promoted by being inspired by that.
Same in that year we have a solo Mv call “boys meets evil” Intro MV ( it’s just one members, the second rapper ) this is when you put a pro dancer with a good director and the enough budget , so good
2017- the best of that year - spring day ( you just have to watch it ) and the special mention is their MV not today.
2018- best of the year : this one , and again their intro MV is also the best too , cuz of the interesting choreo with the amazing takes and lighting and edition, call singularity ( is with the one that sang first dude really good with the camera )
Other that doesn’t let behind in the animation department is forever rain MV by RM ( the solo of the first Rapper) if you want to see an animated b and w painting this is the one.
They special effects are good tho ) black Swan ( this is a really good one and creative one with the lighting but again I would still change some shoots like the second/ last verse( it’s me being picky cuz I know their standards ) , but still pretty good , you can tell the same who did fake love and bst worked on it) Other one in animation department one of the best too, it’s their “we are bulletproof the eternal” MV ( to get this one better you need to see all their MVs )
2020- best of the year -Daewchita MV by agust D ( the same rapper of the shadow video dude really creative with his stuff lol) again you have to see it, the simetry and the coloring is chef kiss.
2022- one of the best of the year - yet to come MV ( a lot of people even fans don’t hype up this Mv much , don’t know why , is amazing the camera work and the colored with the scenery and the shoot using special effect to represent the shoots of their previous MVs. Again good actors. ( I can’t believe it didn’t won’t MV of the year at the Grammys if this doesn’t tell you how corrupted they are , no one will )
The best of the year - wild flower - by Rm , amazing camera direction with edition and using of the scenery , a live painting ( this guy loves art painting ). The shoots are so good following a nice musicality with the song.
The second best in creativity is More MV by jhope ( the second rapper) the creativity with the colored and the shoots with the musicality and the real use of X raid , so good
2023 - the best of the year - amygdala MV and second haegum MV both by agust D ( again this guy is really creative )
Amygdala my be more simple but the use of the camera with the edition and acting of the dude knowing that he has to act stuff that aren’t mentally easy for him , gets the cake, so good there is no one I know who doesn’t feel anything while watching that. On the other hand haegum MV is more of his previous Mv daewchita , nice colored , camera , simetry , and action scenes
2024 - one of the best so far - NEURON MV by jhope ( even tho he is not in the MV , he is part of the creative process ) the editing is amazing with the coloring following a great musicality with the song , and again if you understand the song and jhopes real story you will get a better taste of the MV.
Thank you for the reaction. We purple you💜
💜💜💜
"If you can do something on the set, do it" seems to be the moto of BTS' creative teams. They've built massive sets or taken over actual locations, and only safety or weather limits them with fire or explosions 😂
BTS loves their practical effects. The Snickers is part of the Bangtan Universe, a storyline that spans a miriad of videos. So it has two meanings.
Spoilers if you want.😅
Other videos that you will like:
Blood, Sweat and Tears
ON Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima (long single shots and drones)
Black Swan
Solo works
Jimin Set Me Free pt 2
Jungkook Standing Next To You (shot by Tanu Muino a visual homage to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet)
RM Wildflower
J-hope More and Arson
Agust D Daechwita and Haegeum
V Slow Dancing
Enjoy 😘💜🫶🏻🫰🏻
I really liked this reaction! I appreciate how you focus on everything, including song, lyrics, and dance even though you're a video editor. Thank you!
Thank you for watching!! :)
It says save me and if you flip it.. it then says I’m fine. I have it actually tattooed on me from hearing this song so long ago
What's even better, you can listen to their solos and their music as a group and it's all pure art. People stick with Dynamite and Butter, and they don't do them justice, in my opinion.
Trust me bts has no budget they go all out during their videos ita nita but omg it comes out perfect
Great reaction. Can't wait to see you react to much more BTS videos.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
You are good...
Thank you for your reaction
They have behind the scenes of making every MV. So You can go watch 'Fake Love" the making video.
What a great quality video. Great reaction my guy! Cheers
Thanks a lot!! Learned a lot of things from you! More BTS please
"tbh i didn't think i would like this" yeah i think we heard the first 4 times you said that lol xD
The funny thing about me is I try to be a critic when listening to music, but I end up loving everything 😂 out of every video I've reacted to on my channel I think there's only been 1 or 2 videos I wasn't crazy about, but still appreciated them!
Thank you very much for your awesome reaction ! Welcome to the rabbit hole. ARMY is here to answer all your questions xx💜🙏💜🦋
oh trust me ill be needing the ARMY's help to learn as much as I can! I can't wait to react to more BTS :)
watched their dance practice from DANGER and immediately became Army!
The "Save me" scene has two meanings. It is a reference to two other BTS songs Save Me and I'm Fine. If you look at the part that says save me upside down it says I'm Fine. 14:54
If you listen to both of the songs you will realise why they are connected.
There is a behind the scenes ‘making of’ video as well. If you’re interested in how they did things, it might be good for you to check it out.
yes that is true and it's one way to understand it plus there's another meaning as well but only certain people 'in the know' will get it's a contention to the BU (Bantang Universe) were J Hope's character goes to the fair with his mother and she give's him a snickers bar and says 'wait here from me'. But she never returns for him.
They are the best. They are the number 1 K-pop group in the world
You might like the super short video of them filming the video.
I recommend "Save Me" Omv & the making of save me videos. Very good.
Such a good and detailed reaction!! Thank you! I feel like you would really enjoy the behind the scenes videos of their MV shoots so you should definately check them out! I think you would also like Blood, Sweat and Tears! That video is amazing! Hope to see more reactions soon!
we wanna more of bts reaction💜❕
More BTS reactions please 🥲🤍
broo you should def watch black swan by bts next!! that video has some crazy shots and the song is soooo good!!
If you are interested ARMY can guide you to see everything in the right order or you can cheat and watch an explanation video 😂
BYS music is really diverse, not just pop.
Your reaction was so nice and instructive, I enjoyed watching❤
There’s a behind the scenes video showing how the mv was made. No CGI.
The mv of BTS are amazing.
More of BTS pls. 💜
you could watch the behind the scenes
I really like your reactions and insights. I hope you’ll do more BTS.
Of course! I have some more BTS videos I'll be recording as soon as I can :)
watch the behind the scene, it's all a studio set, no CGI in this video
Yes that's RM with different clothing and hair styled slightly different
🫰 gracias por tu reacción 💜💜💜💜🇦🇷 Argentina
