they should really make more rides where a music is part of the enjoyment of the ride, i feel like this ride is so much more fun because of the sound tracks
Have you ever heard Pirate's "Yo-Ho" or Haunted Mansion's "Grim Grinning Ghosts"?. I hope that real world music sticks strictly to GOTG and doesnt spill over any other aspscts of the parks.

I've been a bit of a skeptic when it come to Disney's parks recently due to how they've either been slashing budgets, not delivering, or fumbling on management.
However this attraction's opening was one of the rare times I gave my applause to Disney. Honestly one of the most spectacular theme park experiences you can get as of this moment.

Looks like a modified version of Space Mountain. It's amazing how technology is progressing, also there's nothing like flying down a rollercoaster track with September playing in the background, the song alone makes it all worthwhile.

You cannot just watch this ride. You have to experience it. It’s just so fun. Not so fast and doesn’t toss you around. It just feels good to ride and experience it. So so good.

@@savedbygrace.slowedreverb it means you haven’t been on a fast roller coaster before then. Cosmic is only fast-ish during the launches but coasts a lot. After you’ve been on 90+mph rides the ~60 are really tame.
i got September my very first time and it felt like being aggressively spun on a dance floor. absolutely amazing.
I got Conga which gave the same feeling but a little faster, but this song is also perfect for the ride hopefully i get it if i go back in the future!
I got The Conga and Everybody Wants to Rule the World. I definitely preferred conga just because of the faster beat.

Just from hearing the riders alone, this ride looks very fun. Glad to see that Disney has pulled off another awesome attraction.
The POV videos are nowhere close to how insane it is in person. It's indescribable.
You want a ride like this don't come to E.P.C.O.T. go to Islands of Adventure Instead and leave E.P.C.O.T to the science geeks like me.

@@mapgar1479 I know what you mean but the Epcot you thought was before is definitely changing directions. Their main goal is to bring more people into that park, and doing that is by adding more rides and "exciting" things like with Moana and Wreak it Ralph. Epcot is now really a mix of a bunch of things It's crazy 😅
While it barely shows the screens, this is definitely the best POV I've seen in terms of track visibility. Looks like a solid ride that should appeal to almost everyone.
I went on it today, it’s definitely more intense than it looks! It goes up to about 50 mph and feels wayyy faster. However, Im not the biggest extreme rollercoaster person and I loved this! It also has some SERIOUS G-Forces

September is by far the BEST song on this ride!!! I had tears streaming down my face the first time I rode it because of how happy I was…and the backwards launch paired with the opening of the song is just so perfect! Got in the virtual queue in the afternoon after riding on a lightning lane pass in the morning because of how darn GOOD it was

I am convinced that out of the six possible songs for this ride, "September" is the best one that you can get. It played when I rode the ride for the first time and it added so much to the experience.

I've been on it about five times now, it's fantastic! I'm not a fan of intense coasters, most intense I'll go is probably Expedition Everest, but this ride is easily one of my favorites in WDW now.
This ride had more sustained intensity then Everest but the backwards helix on Everest is way more intense then anything else at Disney world and it’s not close
@@HobbyHell42 The point was not to compare the intensity to Everest, it was to make a point of how little I go on rollercoasters and how much I avoid them. I probably could have made it clearer.

@@HobbyHell42 The first time i rode Everest and i was questioning if we just went upside down or not when we on the helix, also I think my intensities went into my brain in that part too, plus i could barely move from the Gs. It was really fun. Lol

there are only so many trains, each has a certain song set to it, so i think there are 12 or 18 trains total

On my first time, I got everyone wants to rule the world as my song and I cried on that ride, the music complemented the ride so well. I highly suggest watching the ride with that song in the background

Words cannot describe how much I genuinely love this ride. I did not expect a Disney coaster to make my top 15 considering Disney is obviously better known for family attractions than thrilling ones. But this ride is just so exhilarating with the spinning aspect and the theming throughout the ride that it submerged me in the amazing experience. I also loved the ride soundtrack, it made it so much more fun than it already was. Also, this is quite literally the smoothest coaster I have ever ridden, or at least that’s the case for now and hopefully years to come. I will go out on a limb and say this coaster has made my top 15 overall, and I’ve ridden 127 different coasters throughout several states in the US. I’m beyond glad to see that Epcot’s first roller coaster is Disney’s best one!

It’s darker in person. With these POVs I was trying to show the ride system which I think helps with trying to follow on a video.
As a person who can't do really intense high dive coasters I REALLY appreciate when people try and get the track system

This is 1) The Best Ride In Epcot, 2) The Best Ride In all of Disney World, and 3) The Best Ride I've ever been on. I think all the songs are really good and fitting for the ride, but September is easily the best, there's just nothing like hitting the backwards launch and the first turn to the opening of September. Just got back from Disney World but already planning to go back and ride this banger again.

The cars individually spin 360 during the coaster high speed parts - add dope music and some tripped out (byo edibles) visuals - absolutely brilliant!
Do they spin fast? Like if you have issues with spinning rides (teacups, tilt a whirl type) will you have problems on this?
@@Sunny-xc9kv From other videos of the ride vehicle I’ve seen, the spinning isn’t fast like tea cups. And they might spin 360 but not always, it’s more like Haunted Mansion where it turns for you to see certain things as it’s moving, perhaps a bit faster.

The thing I love about these Guardians of the Galaxy Rides, is the music!!!! I love they keep with that theme whilst the funny dialogue is going on amongst the chaos that is the screams of people on the ride... Just so cool! 😎

Seeing different versions of the POV and reading the comments, I can say that most of the people are really excited when the song September plays on the ride!
It was so fun! Wish I could ride it forever. The music was upbeat and made me happy! It was supper smooth to, and it’s definitely either my favorite or top 3. I love it so much would go back just to ride it once.
It’s a lot faster than the video shows. There is so much going on during the ride with the music, lights and visuals. It is also the smoothest coaster I have ever been on. It’s my new favorite ride, anywhere.

This ride definitely feels really immersive. The way you go through the jump points, the way you feel like you're going to get grabbed by the Celestial or whatever it is at the beginning, the music playing while you zoom past what seems to be the Milky Way after a jump point opens out of nowhere, it all feels so realistic, like you're living in an episode of a GoTG spinoff series.
And I love it. I'd ride this coaster 100 times if I had the chance. Without getting too dizzy, of course.

Went on this couple of days back. It blows your mind - with Gloria Estefans Conga blasting your ear drums on our particular ride. Hoping to visit again and grab another virtual ride slot before we head home. Incredible ride that has you buzzing for hours. Possibly Disney’s best ride - and I love RoTR a lot. But Guardians just makes you smile for ear to ear. Also has you wobbling off the ride 🤣

What I think Disney should do for these more recent IP drops in EPCOT is instead of dedicating individual pavilions or areas to IP, they should integrate them into each existing pavilion. Each IP drop would act as an example of Disney products or pop culture and its interpretation of that area of science and technology for that pavilion and the role it has played in advancing culture’s awareness of that field. For example. EPCOT currently has a space pavilion (mission space) which acts as a truly EPCOT example of displaying and allowing others to experience the technologies and emerging ideas of space travel. In the case of Guardians of the Galaxy, this could act as an IP example for the space pavilion, displaying pop culture’s interpretation of space technology in the movie and educating the viewer about how the ideas brought about in IP could help to inspire future technologies and generations. A short preshow film could describe this and tie the IP in and then the ride could just be a Guardians of the Galaxy ride with no need for further tie-ins to EPCOT. This model would allow Disney to happily integrate IP for every Future World Pavilion while also retaining EPCOT’s ideas of technology, edutainment, the future, and inspiration for all. World of Motion could become home to test track and IP such as Star Wars and all the examples of possible new transportation technologies that could emerge in future decades from those movies. As mentioned previously, the Space Pavilion could be home to mission space and the guardians of the galaxy. They could reconstruct the queue building behind the current space pavilion and redivert the launch tunnel to the roller coaster. The Universe of Energy could be reinstated and then become home to an IP example such as Fantasia where you discuss examples of energy seen in scenes such as bald mountain. The Living Seas could reinstate the educational dark ride and then tie in IP such as 20,000 leagues or Nemo or the little mermaid and discuss the diversity and fragility of the world’s oceans. The land could be home to living with the land, soarin’, and IP like Pocahontas or Moana. The Imagination pavilion could be home to journey into imagination and IP like alice and wonderland where you could discuss the impact of Disney animation and the whimsical creativity and imagination found in the movie on the liberal arts. Even the health pavilion could be re-instated and integrate IP like inside out where you discuss the impact of mental health and balancing emotions. Pleace feel free to let me know what you think about this idea. I really think it would benefit the Disney visitor and Disney in regards to EPCOT and IP.
My brother *hates* coasters, as in he refuses to ride Everest, Space Mountain, Rock n Roll, etc. He LOVED this ride, it ended up topping Rise of the Resistance as his favorite simply due to how fun it was to re-ride it. It’s probably my favorite as well next to Flight of Passage. We ended up getting to ride it 3 times due to Fastpass nonsense, and we finally got this song on our last ride (something I hoped for desperately). Definitely my favorite song on the ride, the sync with going back in time and the beginning of the song is absolutely amazing. Conga is probably a close second due to how upbeat and fun it is. The videos don’t do the energy of the ride justice. I suffer from pretty bad motion sickness when it comes to fast moving visuals (one of the main causes of sickness on this ride) and I mostly just close my eyes and jam out, it’s great. Definitely a fun (and somewhat needed edition) to Epcot, though I will miss the Universe of Energy Pavillion. There’s tons of cool and fun easter eggs for park nerds in there though.
My exact opinion on the ride. A tip for motion sickness is to sit in the middle car, left seat. This provides the least amount of G-Forces and has been confirmed by Cast Members as the best seat for those who get motion sick. I also recommend that you look at the center of the vehicle, where the Nova Corp logo is, this is what my mom does every time we ride and she ends up not getting sick. (Not sure if getting September three times in a row helped with her motion sickness lol)

@@luxo199 I wouldn't say so! I felt a couple of stomach drops here and there from the "drops" on the ride but I would say they are around the size of the Barnstormer or Mine Train's drop (if not a little bigger). To be honest, the ride is so fast you probably wouldn't even notice or feel them that much. The only thing I'd say is particularly intense about the ride is the launch, as you go backwards up a hill. The speed is a smooth increase so it definitely won't jerk you at the start like Rock n' Roll may, but that upwards feeling may be a bit scary at first. Convince your friend to ride it as long as they don't have the issues I mentioned in my first comment, it's 100% worth it.

Easily the most intense and incredibly fun coaster I have ever been on. I had to sit for a few minutes because I was dizzy and had an adrenaline rush. This ride is amazing!!

@kain393 It does, but what really makes it intense is the fact that the car rotates 360 degrees, and it's in moments of pitch blackness.
