This raptor definitely ain't turkey sized! Thanks to @officialwarhammer I got an early copy of the Saurus Scar-Veteran on Aggradon to show you guys how to paint this beast up! I know it seems complicated and very detailed, but trust me, as usual, I make it very easy and achievable, and you can use the same tutorial for the squad as well, combined with my previous Saurus video! FAQ:Adding a light spray of Grey Seer over a full coat of black primer adds a small amount of texture to the primer which gives the contrast paint more to grip on to. It also adds light and shadows which helps define the model more.

He is very cool! Seraphon and contrasts go so so well together because of all of the texture, and you can always layer more paint on over for certain details!
Yes I have just got some new kroxigor and it is the first-time I have used contrast paint and dry brushing

Really brilliant...again I now want to start an army, not because I intrinsically like it, but because I now want to paint it and believe I can do it well and quickly! I think you should do a quickfire video like the tyranid one where you show several versions of scales and several versions of saurus skin tones etc...that way it saves you some time but people can mix and match etc. Superb content.
Ooo I do like that idea a lot! I know Vincent knotley put together a few different schemes so check out his stuff as well!

Opinion: It looked clean AF with the rich saturated colors providing the depth... and then the white dry brush and highlights utterly ruined it. :c
It turned from natural contrast of colors to artificial contrast shading/highlighting that just looks washed out by comparison. I am perplexed by how many model painters do this.
With all that said, this is still one of the better Seraphon models I've seen, and I think you did a good job.
Always pick and choose from tutorials with what you want to do for your own models, we all have our own style and preferences! Cheers for watching!

How do you even plan those.... it takes me like half a dozen test subjects to make a plan for painting :(
This scheme is based off the box art, and also many many years of recognising paints from photos, if I were to make up my own scheme it would take me just as long as you don’t worry!

Is there a way to do drybrushing and not have it look powdery after? Mine usually does but yours doesnt seem as bad
Your brush should not be bone dry. You should check out the channel artis opus and watch his how to drybrush videos. He is the king. And I use his brushes a lot. You should check them out.
What size base is that? Can't tell difference in scale to old cold one riders
For sure a size up from those bases. There same as the stormcast cavalry.
That gold is shony af, my retributor armor never looka as good as yours.
