There is a soundtrack for Steven King’s The Stand. It’s about 40 minutes and I find it soulful and melancholy. My favorite type of music. I put it on when I am working at my drawing board and I just play it over and over at low volume. It keeps me in the groove!
Considering what happened to Snuffy and where Michael Ruff is today working a car wash in Hawaii is mind blowing. Ruff self sabotaged himself and just wouldn’t play the game in music lane.

I discovered Snuffy a few years back because of The Stand and wow.... he's such a great musician.
I remember Snuffy playing with Chaka Khan in the mid-80's. Great feel and excellent showmanship!
