It's very pretty, but how can you make sure that it won't get caught on fabric and won't "unravel"? What keeps the thin wire and the curls of the thicker wire in place?
Thank you! There's always a risk with wire wrapped jewelry as it tends to be a bit more fragile. You can avoid adding curls to this design to lessen the chances of it.
Very nice ring but a little confusing. I don’t think myself as a beginner could do this, maybe too many wires, but will give it a try, love the curls instead of trying to get the wires from scratching your finger. Excellent video tks Nicky
Hi Oxana, I just love your videos. I have learned so much from you and want to say thank you so, so much. I am trying this ring and it is my first time working with wire EVER.. Oh boy... lol, my wrap is coming out ok, but how do you keep from getting the two wires from going crooked while wrapping? And if I can't work with the wrap wire still attached to its roll, so if run out can I just tuck and start with new wire? Thanks again...
Oxana I did one of your other video and it was AMAZING and easy to follow but this one I’m struggling so bad I quit and may attempt again with different wire because I’m using 2 seven inch strands of 20 gauge copper bent up wire that I couldnt get straight and I’m using from the same 20 gauge I’m trying to wrap with. (i guess it’s not dead soft cause it’s wrapping horribly!! It’s just a disgusting wire mess!!) Anyway I know you said in the beginning what you are using but it’s SO MUCH better when you include it in the description! I’d also appreciate a little “if this is happening, it’s probably because of this” advice. Thanks! -from a mildy frustrated beginner lol
Like a ring measuring stick...!! GIRL You think I got that sitting around my house!? LOL I guess shame on me for not watching the video before starting it
Nice. Love your ring vids. Would love to see one on wrapping a really flat item, such as a small coin. I have several small three pence silver coins that I think would make a nice little ring. Thanks so much. You do a wonderful job with your tuts.
Love this! Can't wait to try it! Can you do more ring tutorials? I get so excited whenever I see you've posted another video because they are so helpful! What do you do about the copper to keep it from turning your finger green? Does oxidized copper turn the skin colors?
Whether your skin turns green is a very individual thing and depends on your body chemistry, but yes it can do that. I usually do not wear rings all day every day, so I have not experienced this myself. You can use copper that is enameled or coated with something to prevent this.
To prevent your skin from turning you can take clear nail polish and coat the inside of the ring that touches your skin and let dry. just reapply when needed. I find it stays on pretty long. Stay Positive and Stay Awesome!!!
+OxanaCrafts I wanted to find out where you get your wire from. Michael's is a bit to expensive for such little amount of wire even with an employee discount. Is it available online or possibly a hardware store? For the time being I've purchased the wire from Michael's but would love to know where you get yours. Stay Positive and Stay Awesome!!! BTW great video!!!
This is beautiful! I love all of your tutorials! I am wondering what size bead this is that you use for this tutorial? Thanks!
Beautiful, thank you for sharing your beautiful work!

Very great video love it! 1 thing though the unfocusing of the camera was making me nauseous
Hi what are these pliers you’re using?!
Xuron Tweezer Nose: amzn.to/2Vghbyw
Lovely. How long is the weaving wire?
I leave it on the spool as I weave so no measuring or pre-cutting required
Love love love it.
Great tutorial- managed to get it near perfect on the second go, and I think following along just generally made my basic skills improve!

I get raw copper, not anti-tarnish like Michael;s sell, and I get it from Rio Grande and Monsterslayer
What size bead did you use?
I believe it was about 10mm
