Sweet set up y’all have. This is my first year in lawn care. 21 inch Honda mower. Echo srm 225 trimmer. Ryobi back pack blower. And a small spreader. Got my first 3 clients this week. Really excited for this year. Keep mowing keep growing guys
How is business ?

Thanks for posting, nice setup and hope you have a great season !
Thank you!!
Shawn, I took some brick & pavers and I made a mower wash pad in the back corner of my property. I got a used car ramp that car dealers elevate cars on their lots to sell, slid the sides closer together, and now it works sweet in elevating my mower to wash it thoroughly. Pulling out the power-washer is a slight inconvenience, but it is handier then running to the carwash.
Echo 770 is a beast!
Yes it is.
Suggestion, get the fire extinguisher out of the bottom of the tool box where it will get buried. It should be mounted somewhere that it can be reached in an emergency. You have a huge investment in that rig and you need to be able to quickly protect it. Consult a fire department if you have questions.
Great video, great setup, great people! Keep up the great work
Thanks Russell
Shawn great video, love how you turn around showing off the goods! A tip for you buddy, get a first aid kit to leave in the truck.😽
I agree with that
@@austinbruce6770 thanks
For sure Joe
@@SpencerLawnCare Walmart has decent ones in the outdoor section for cheap to keep in the truck that's what we got can't be to ssfe
Hell yeah its gettin time soon! I had to work for a company this year instead of my own lawn business, its not as easy as you make it seem!
Its definitely not easy. 👊
Hi great video have a safe and great season keep up the good work.
Thanks Anthony
Best equipment "modeling" I have seen in a long time. TQ... you're a "natural"!!!!
😂😂 Thanks!!
Yes sir lol

Great choice with the Wright we use those alot here in Miami extremely reliable mowers.
Thanks man
Great job with the video and go out and clean up your new accounts old ones to if needed enjoy your right mower
Yes sir thank you 👊
Great setup for 2019, the Wright will be a home run for you, make sure you keep that beautiful truck of yours clean inside and out so people see you coming and what a professional Company you are ,Good Luck in 2019.

💚thanks bro
Yw
Well not first again baby, well I hate to say it but I’m slacking.
Hahaha
Now that's a monster set up
Thanks bro👊
You should do a video on waht is in your shed
I would but its filled from floor to ceiling right now. Lol
Nice video, the wright will be awesome
I hope so
Late but I’ve been watching your videos and man have u lost a lot of weight congratulations man!!!
A tip, keep your mower more over the axel of the trailer. You have a lot of tongue weight with it that far up the trailer
That was just for the video. If you notice later on in the video its over the wheels.
Go Get That Money... Nice Set up
Awesome looking setup 🤙
Thanks brother
Nice set up!
Thank you
This appears to be the Wright season for Spencer Lawn Care.
I hope so. Last year was great as well
Have a G R E A T S E A S O N guys 👍👍👍💰💰💰
You too Joey
@@SpencerLawnCare you can do this Spencer
First video i watched of you guys and loved it haha new subscriber
Sean. After a time let us know how you like your Wright stander.
Love your setup !!
Thanks Jack
Wish you guys great wealth, long life .
Who else came back to look at the old setup
We had a couple problems with our racks got ahold of them and they fixed the problems we had with. Were did you get your hitch
That's good to hear. I got it at Rural King
You should give the stihl 94 rs A you go It’s actually a very good trimmer light weight and you don’t get Fatigue Are you doing this on longer days it got plenty of power to Really long grass we use it at work we have been using this now for three years this trimmer Prefer it over the 90r
TQ already has her eye on one. Lol
What Shawn said!! I can't wait to get one!!
Awesome setup
Thanks Float
Better to park the mower over the tires then to drive it all the way forward on the trailer. Distribute the weight better
Waych towards the end of the video
That’s a great setup. I thought you would be running both mowers. Still trailer shopping I guess. Just wondering if you think the extra money for the side start is worth. And do think the 800 is that much more of a blower then the 600. I’m buying one or the other . The 600 is $670 and the 800 c is $880. It’s a lot of coin ( Canadian prices) the x is 80 less then the c . Oh and keep up the good work. TQ is so involved. It’s so awesome of a team.
Its definitely stronger. I personally don't like the side start now. Its not as easy as it looked to start. 600 is strong and reliable I loved ours for years.
Spencer Lawn Care thanks for quick reply . That helps me decide.
Can I get you to check on something for me. I would like to know if a 36 walk behind or stander could go up the side ramp at the front, then have the 61 or 52 inch stander behind that, and still fit a 30 or 21 inch mower sideways at the back. If that will fit and not overload the trailer weight, I think it would be a perfect set up for a 2 man crew for efficiency. By having the stander sideways at the front, it wouldn't have to be contantly unloaded to get to the big mower. Could you do a few quick measurements and check that for me. I currently run a 5x10 and its not big enough. Looking at a new trailer and one new mower for this year maybe.....ZTR or stander. Trying to stay with a single axle and shorter trailer for the tight neighborhoods if possible. Thanks!
You need WeatherTech floor mats custom for your truck.
TQ you’re a natural model for lawn products, Keep up the good work. Have a safe and prosperous season.
She's great lol
Thank you Mike!!
Stihl fs250 now thats a real man trimmer . Good video thow
Hahaha, thanks👊
Do you guys prefer STIHL or ECHO? I was interested in a blower like the one in your tool box Echo PB-2520 or a Stihl BG-50. Any suggestions based upon your experience with both brands (I own a SRM-225 trimmer and its great)
I personally like echo blowers and STIhl trimmers. I know I'm weird haha.
@@trimmerqueen4206 Thanks, I was looking at the ECHO model from Home Depot and its only 10 bucks more than the Stihl.
How do you get away with not securing the mower down? That’s a must around here to dangerous not having it tied down. Have a good day mowing tomorrow I’m going to start this week also!!!
We tie down on long trips, neighborhoods going house to house we don't. To time consuming.
Happy 2019 season
You too brother
How do you like your makita handheld blower. Also do you have a makita weedeater. I have a Milwaukee blower and thought about getting a battery powered weedeater, what all battery powered tools do you have as far as lawn equipment goes.
We do have a Makita blower and weed eater and chain saw. They work pretty good!
We love them, honestly better then you would expect.
@@SpencerLawnCare I thought about going all battery but with Milwaukee. How long can makita go on a charge and what Amp battery are you using in them
Suprised you don't share the sentiment with nick of the equipment defenders
TQ sounds like a realtor or a used car slaswoman
I thought equipment defender changed there name to equipment pretender.....
Real original lol they work great for us. Did have an issue with the backpack raxk originally but got it figured out.
I'm about to expand my set up, so here's an honest question for you. Would it have been easier/cheaper if you had just started with a 16 ft trailer instead of adding on all the extra sure can carriers, etc.?
Do customer are picky when it comes to cut their grass? I'm planning to start a lawn care business,
Trimmer queen is back.! 😁😎
Yes sir👊
I'm back!!!!!!
Nice set up for 2018, can’t wait to see you n TQ operate Wright mower👍 Has Echo release any new product for start of season?
Thanks bud its 2019 though lol No not yet
Spencer Lawn Care oops I did mean 2019🤪👍😂
I have the Troy built trimmer plus system
Sweet man
Spencer Lawn Care yeah I’ve got my use out of it so I’m happy
Cadillac set-up!! My first season mowing. Everything going okay except for weedeater string. Seems I cant find the right one. Any suggestions?
Did you guys get any snow / I got 3 inches in shaker heights
A dusting
Amazing setup guys! Going to be a very profitable season.
Thank you
@@SpencerLawnCare You are very welcome.
It's Friday
Why stay with a 12’? Would have thought you would have bought something else more heavy duty. Just bought a 18’ my self from from 12’ which was very loved. Or do you just have a 12’ to park in your garage??
At the beginning of the video i said our trailer for now. We will be upgrading soon. Just cost money and we've spent a lot this year.
Nice man !!! Random question what boots you guys like using ?
I just picked up a pair of Keens from Duluth trading today I've never used them, I'm going to give them a try for the season.
Cool TQ you guys are awesome , out here in Boston area we started doing cleanups since Wednesday of last week. Wishing you guys a successful season. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks brother
@@lucassales6794 Thank you!! Best of luck for you as well!!
Hey shawn do you use the side ramp on the trailer you have not really talked about it or shown it used.
Only for mulch jobs really
@@SpencerLawnCare oh ok cool thanks for replying back
My question is, I see alot of lawn care guys around, why don't any of you secure the mower? If u got into any kind of accident, that mower would go flying and be destroyed, and I can't imagine all the constant rocking can be good for the mowers parking brake.
It all comes down to time. If we go along distance we strap down. Short hauls we don't
Do I start with a handblower or backpack blower
What, no first aid kit on-board?🇨🇦
We keep it in the cooler. If not it becomes garbage in the hot truck.
What brand and model boots are you wearing?
Equipment Defender no longer makes the backpack rack model you have. The new one is a V2. Mine is on order!
Yeah I have it. Waiting until we get the new trailer
How do you guys do ur fall cleanups??
Are you keeping the exmark?
As of now yes
@@SpencerLawnCare Always nice to have a backup.
How can you move without
What’s your opinion of the Vangaurd engine? How strong is it compared to the Kawasaki?
J & G Lawn Care don’t get that shit engine. Get a kawi
How’s the zk on hills ? Never had a stander
Second
Thanks Monster 💚👊
Do both mowers fit on the 12ft trailer?
What happened with the exmark,?
I see you didn't watch the full video lol. I mentioned it
Awsome 👍🏼
Do you still plan to use the exmark
Really need your honest opinion on something.
Ok as far as Trimmers go. I just purchased Stihl Fs 111Rx. Great deal couldn't pass up. I went originally to buy the 91R or the 94. However when I got there the 94's were gone. One 91 was left but it was 30 bucks more then the Fs 111rx . So I jumped on that one. more power so figured I couldn't go wrong. But I don't know anybody running a 111. The 91 I know is awesome. I just hope I didn't shoot myself in the foot by purchasing this machine because it was cheaper but yet had more power. Do you know anything personally about the FS 111Rx?
I just bought it today so I haven't ran it yet. And this one is replacing my 110 that was stolen. And that thing was a beast. Thx
@1 0f tha Watchman
yea I took it bk bro. I got lucky because they don't wanna return it. Even though it had never been used or touched. I exchanged it for the 131R. Even though that 1 probably won't get much use. I would like to know that I have it available in case I have overgrown lawns
@1 0f tha Watchman
Yes sir they are great. right now on my trailer I am running the 91R the 94 and now the 131. plus my stihl 91edger. But they all have a place. The 91 and 94 I'm going to try out the new sthil feed heads this week and see how they work. I normally use the Eco speed feeds
@1 0f tha Watchman
Yes the 111R is a great trimmer. My father-in-law uses that one. I needed a bigger trimmer to replace yhe 110 that was stolen from my truck. Originally I did want the 111R. But they were out. And I normally don't do overgrown lawns. But I have gotten calls from city officials asking me to go give bids on lawns that are crazy overgrown. And they are big money lawns.
@1 0f tha Watchman
Overall I think the 111 is great
@1 0f tha Watchman
That's awesome bro. Like I said earlier I just recently purchased new trimmers. The 91 and 94. 131 is next. but no rush.
Good luck with your trimmer. FYI don't forget it takes a few tanks for it to break in . so don't worry when u hear it bog down a few times.
First aid kit
💯👊
Try head phones when cutting long periods of time
We do for sure
How does Odot let u get away with no straps on ur mowers? They M(michigan)dot and even local police/county/state boys r all over everyone up here. Even pulling over enclosed trailers to check for fire extinguishers road flares and triangles plus they check to see if ur emergency brake away battery locks up ur trailer brakes as it should when the pin gets pulled
Let us get away with it? When we long haul we strap down. Going house to house we don't. Hope this answers your question.
@@SpencerLawnCare oh they don't let use get away with that unless we r driving down the street a couple houses
@@SpencerLawnCare and even then we still throw the strap across to look like
I'm sure u have a lot of rakes lol
Yes yes we do lol
Why do you have a stick edger not a real edger!!!!!!
Now when you said it needs to go down another inch was that loaded or unloaded
Loaded it was sitting almost 3/4 high, unloaded little over an inch
Hi my name is Warren I love your videos I have a question what happened to your ex mark zero turn mower I love watching your zero turn mower is there a reason that wasn’t included in your setup video
They put it at Tqs dads house because his older mower broke.
Thanks man, we're currently allowing TQs dad to use it.
Well good luck with your new yellow mower
U get rid of the exmark?
No
Wasssup Monsters
Whats up brother
What is that spray you're doing in the background
What time in the video?
@@SpencerLawnCare towards the end
Whenever you said you don't have time to pull the stuff out
@@nicsnyder5689 The big sprayer is for our softball fields. We use it to kill the fence lines every year.
@@SpencerLawnCare okay what do you hook it up to
👍
Thanks man
First
Thanks Finn👊💚
Wheres your traffic cone?!! Lol. Should get a couple from menards.
They always get stolen. Ive probably had 10 over the years. We normally go through 2 a season.
@@SpencerLawnCare Lol. That's funny!
