In the first day of the Brynn sewalong we attach and hem the sleeves for Views B and C and the Armbands for View A. We also sew up sideseams for all views.
Great video. I do have one tip for you, if you use the fusible seam tape, leave the paper in place after you attach it. Use it as your guide to fold the seam to make a memory seam. Then remove and press. Much easier. I have one question , do you have separate patterns for sleeve vs sleeveless, or two different pattern cut lines? I find if you put a sleeve into a sleeveless version. The back seam doesn't fit correctly.
Hi. Thanks for these tutorials. I'm wondering....do you choose to make this without serging, or did you just do that for simplicity for the video (and because knits don't fray)?
I sometimes make it with a serger and sometimes without. It's easier to show the tutorial on the regular sewing machine plus I know that lots of home sewists dont have a serger so that is why I chose this for the tutorial. Either way works though.
