Regarding the captions, you can usually tell if they did them as every line will have a musical note at each end - those ones looked like the standard 'auto-generated' ones! Adriana's first video with them was their 'Frozen 2' medley - her parents are friends of the Castellucci's, VP saw some of her IG videos and invited her to sing with them as a 15th birthday present! She was in 'We're Good' (Cesar's introduction!) and 'Good 4 U' as well as a bunch of their 'minis'/shorts..!
They asked Layne how easy it was to beatbox with the Who nose. Of course, their work is always pre-recorded, but even looking like he was beatboxing was really difficult. Great reaction, I am here for all things Voiceplay and Geoff!
I'm guessing Geoff had a wonderful time doing his best Thurl Ravenscroft voice! As for Adrianna, she's in VoicePlay's cover of "Jingle Bell Rock" from "Mean Girls" this year. She just looks a bit different as a blonde. And as you noticed several other songs..
@hwyla If you want to see/hear Geoff do a full on "Thurl Ravenscroft," you should check out Peter Hollens' Christmas Movie Medley from three years ago. He got Geoff as a guest to sing "You're A Mean One Mister Grinch." Peter went mostly Classical/Original with the songs in in this medley so Geoff just sang it straight and went full "Thurl Ravenscroft."

As far as I know, the identity of the person inside the Grinch costume, is undisclosed. Adriana has been in several things with them; this is, IMO, by far the best of them. Not that she isn't good in the others (her voice is, as you say, great), but she's just really particularly amazing in this one, and also, it's a very cool arrangement and a very well-done and entertaining video. Second best is probably the Frozen 2 medley.
Yeah, they have been very careful not to put a name out, probably because whoever it was might have been an actual universal studios employee Grinch performer using their (the theme park's) makeup and costuming since it is so incredibly good?
@@ThalesMusicCorner Sorry, Thale! It was in the credits - 'Grinch provided by Makeup And Creative Arts', they also did the makeup/prosthetics for them, they are a Florida-based company that work in film, TV - as well as creating costumes for theme parks...!
they have been very careful with not revealing the name of the Grinch, not even to their patrons. Universal Studio Grinch actors have strict rules about not portraying the Grinch outside of the parks, so we suspect this was why they didn't want to say anything, lol. but the Grinch's voice is actually done by Eli, who's a very talented voice actor.
The person who played the grinch is top secret as far as anyone can find it is a dead end. The group will not disclose the information and I will never tell out of respect for them.
