As someone who read the HTTH trilogy around the time EP 1 was released, you have no idea how happy I was. It's setting up Thrawn's return and his campaign against the New Republic. I've waited for this for so long. This series delivered.
Sadly there are very few who have read the Thrawn books where I live. I only know one other person who has read HTTH and another who has read some of the new canon books. Sadly those of us who have read the books are few. I hope the Ahsoka series gets more people to check out the Thrawn books.
I love thrawn and read all the books and i am quite unhappy too, because if the clumsiness of his escape. Zahn's thrawn wouldn't have made so many unnesseccary mistakes
@@gallusivrlac5552 did he make any mistakes? All he needed was time and had limited resources with which to get it. It didn't matter if he killed Ashoka, Sabine or Ezra so long as he transferred his cargo, docked to Eye of Sion and escaped. But to do so he needed time. All his actions bought him time and as the end showed, seconds mattered. And at the end of the day, he won. Zahn was a consultant for this show.
The New Republic is going to have their collective butts handed to them by Thrawn and his allies. Weather they be his new Nightsister friends or, to a lesser extent, the Imperial Remnent's combined forces.
@@gardyion2869 I'm almost rooting for Thrawn to win! He probably is going to figure out a plan on how to utilize the Shadow Council's reasorces and that of as many other Imperial Remnants as possible for the benifit of the Chiss Ascendancy's war against the Grysk Hegemony.
@@gardyion2869If they bring in the Grysk Threat from the Unknown Regions, that would also explain why the galaxy gets pummeled. The NR, Thrawn, and the Grysk Wars (hopefully they're connected to Abeloth) would divide the galaxy.
please let it be the Remanent. I have had enough with the nightsisters. I despise their story arc. They need to exit stage left. I am curious how they plan to end things *spoiler alert* we saw Rukh die in Rebels so he can't kill Thrawn in this.

He complimented, insulted, taunted, then exited
“Long live the Empire”

I was very pleased to see thrawn escape

LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE
Not only am I glad Thrawn escaped but I want him to kick the New republic’s ass due to how complacent it had become
There are two types of people in this world, those who have read the Thrawn books, and those who are annoyed or suprised that he won.

@@chrismartindale7840 yeah, he could have just flown to the eye instead of heaving it come down so ezra wouldn't have escaped
Plus the mines were really so stupid speaking of Limited ressources
Long live the Heir to the Empire.
lol surprised how many reactors thought they could “ride the wave”
Exactly, that's not the way that works. The wake was what was left behind after the jump. They can't just follow it.
They are all rebel fans it makes sense they would think that
If you guys knew anything about starwars you'd be cheering for Thrawn...
Indeed
I was happy because I've wanted to see some kind of HTTH storyline for a long time and they're finally going there.
Long live the Empire!

Thanks for the like on my comment!
Would at least explain why they’re weakened by the time New Order rolls around lol

Ladies and gentlemen, we have the setup for a potential second season: How Ahsoka, Sabine and Huyang get home.
Long live the Empire! ❤
