Peter you’re right. Used to be a collator. Then a LIO. Local Intelligence Officer. Now a computer. All we need is Police to communicate with the public
Since everything went pc ,they just went bonkers with it ! People need to stop being so easily offended , thos government and all others since blair caused all this , ignorant fools , come live in the real world 🌎 i dare you starmer !
Another aspect that will have a significant effect with any new recruits to policing : I saw a report just a week or so ago of a survey (I believe was carried out across numerous business's H and R departments. As far as I know, Police Services weren't included, but I don't know) . The thrust of the report was that H&R personel didn't like recruiting generation X applicants (I had to look that up being a pensioner !). Upper age for generation X apparently being 27 years. Me being the age I am, I can't recall ALL the logic for this reticence, but included that generally such applicants have minimal work ethic, are poor time-keepers, are too easily offended, have poor communication skills and can't take criticism (there were several more ). How in all that's believable could recruits with such character-traits cope with policing the streets ?! . Any recruits from Gen X that get into a Constabulary aren't likely to last long before handing in their warrant-card !!!
Why the college of policing should have made most of the rules regarding NCHI's is perplexing, along with the other 39 organisations were hate crimes can be reported ! . But when you consider that ill will, unfriendliness, resentment and dislike can be enough to get you a knock on the door. You have to think this is lunacy.
How do you think that will be done? Do you think that everyone will comply? What do you think it will show?? How many ethnic groups do you think live in the UK? Thousands!! Don't you think the police have enough paperwork?
@bbuzz1687 they already have the numbers and statistics. Doesn't require any more work to publish it than it does to redact it. Other countries manage to do it. Suggesting our police and bureaucrats are too incompetent to do it is very condescending. Really the only reason they don't, is because the numbers prove they are lying about "our strength" Math ain't wasist, and the statistics don't lie. Politicians and bureaucrats do.
"We must protect ourselves!" How? The Law in the UK does not allow an individual citizen to protect themselves. A FW police officer accosts a Security Officer for carrying a Maglite torch at 01:00 while doing his security rounds!
Graduate police officers are the policing equivalent of army 'Ruperts', aka commissioned officers. The difference? Regimental and company sarn't majors give Ruperts a sense of discipline and where their place is, in the service scheme of things.
I keep saying it. We have to get rid of the College of Policing.
Peter a man with common sense, he is all we need
Police should have to join as Constables and work their way up. No more police college, learn as you go!
When job cuts happen it's not the sycophants and suck ups that get the boot.
Whats happen with Manchester Airport lot still waiting.👎👎
It as if the case got dropped due to police covering up
Apparently Reform are still waiting for paperwork from the CPS

Simple.... salary police? similar to the armed forces... you are paid accordingly.

Bloody good job, we pay for their pension then.
the give taxpayers money abroad, and have left Britain in dire state
If they have contributed to NI they are ENTITLED to receive their pension. FW, remember in some cases, they NEVER get an increase!

GOVERNMENT ENFORCEMENT AGENTS!
Go to government petitions , search leave the echr 😊
And call a new general election.
Could we have a breakdown of police statistics on crime based upon ethnicity within the UK.

Policing has been politicised. The job can’t be done fairly, or effectively - they have to abide by the latest political wokery nonsense !!
My dog was born in Brixton! Hahahahahahaha
Going to college to be a police officer 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂🙃
What am I supposed to protect myself with Peter? Bad language?
