Hey guys! When I was in massage school they told me not to tell my clients to “relax” because it was such a trigger weird that it often made folks more tense. Instead tell them to “release” or “become heavy” or “melt”. Love what you’re doing. Hope y’all can use this.

You guys are the best. I love your nerd humor and your videos have truly helped me understand and start dealing with a whiplash injury compounded by poor posture. I didn't find a 100 dollar bill in my pocket-I found something FAR better: some pain relief and better tools to help my neck! THANK you!

This video helped a lot. I Always have had headaches due to muscle pain and never seen a doctor. I've always gotten a massage to clear the headaches up to a year. I got curious and Googled a muscle diagram. I knew what muscle it was but found out the name and here I am. Who says self diagnosis doesn't work.

I went camping and my stiff neck kept getting worse each morning. I could feel tenderness around my left scapula (quite sharp when I looked down). I'm a dental hygienist so I was freaking out that I won't be able to work tomorrow. Out of desperation, I googled dyi remedies, and came across this video. I already feel so much better! Life savers!

The sode of my neck which is facing my spinal column looks to have bone spirs which may be some of my problem as well. Any advice will help. Im also looki g for post ulnar nerve transpostition ( 3 years ago) shoulder arm hand therapy. Kind regards Lemmy!

Ok, so this looks good for tension in the Levator Scapulae. But what if it's a suspected strain? For instance, I got a little sloppy with my form performing my last strict shoulder press at the gym today, and my LS got over-stressed in the process. I'm icing it now, but if I want to move around, I have to do it very slowly to avoid muscle pain in the neck. Should I wait a few days before stretching? or will stretching it now work out a kink?
