      The only people who benefit from war are politicians and contractors. 😏

    The Japanese internment camps mirrored the life of an army private. .

    The photo at 16.06 is not "Jews being deported by train...". Clearly the 'passengers' in the open compartments are soldiers - probably Russian POWs.
    At 20.58, the "Weeping Frenchman" is not in Paris watching the German conquerers marching thru' the streets of Paris. He is in Marseilles watching the flags of fallen France being marched through the streets of Marseilles on their way to Africa. The French regimental flags had been moved into the south of France in order to preserve them from the surrender. The man's name is Jerome Barzetti.

      dace4367 No ‘it’ is not . Rudolph Hess flew to Scotland and was imprisoned on 10th May 1941 displeasing his boss more than a little bit.
      Hoss ( with 2 dots - an ‘umlaut’ above the ‘o’) was a different being.

    Was it only the Nazis? I thought they were all Germans. How many Nazi were there ?

    • @MARYREED-nh7gb
      @MARYREED-nh7gb 4 дні тому

      How many Nazis? That would depend on when you did the survey. In the 1930 and into the 40's just about everyone in Germany and many other countries were Nazi. After the WW2 and the defeat of Germany, well you couldn't fine many people who would admit to it. The running gag at the time by Americans was there no Nazis in Germany, just Eskimos.
