Mukul, it's refreshing to find N related videos from an well articulate gentleman vs. the usual fare of tug of wars, drag races, silly alloys and daft antics :-) I have been following your Scorpio N vids without subscribing for a while now - finally subscribed today (and a follow on IG, as well). The ones about PDI, and boot space are just the kind of practical info a prospective buyer needs. Not to mention, the 'endurance tests' kept me glued. You're a brave soul!
Hey, I need your suggestion, I'm planning for Scorpio-N, But confused between Manual or Automatic, I've 70% highway running, 30% city, I've no problem driving manual but sometimes when i visit dense traffic cities, i get irritated with manual, but that's very rare, it's manageable with manual in My city, and I've always driven manual, but with increasing traffic day by day I'm confused whether should i go with automatic or not. What do you suggest, is clutch peddle hard after 10-20k kms, & what's best for me. I'm a little concerned about mileage too, will automatic give atleast 14-15 in highways
I'll be completely honest with you. Since I have driven manual all my life as well. As much as I love manual, and that's the reason I got a manual in the first place. The Automatic gearbox is way superior in terms of driving comfort. The reason being the issue you pointed out so correctly. Traffic!! The traffic seems to be increasing every single day. Ive driven the car for about 25K kms and the clutch is not the lightest. If you get heavy bumper to bumper traffic and you constantly shift gears for about 1 hour or so. You'll definitely find it a pain in the leg. Almost every person who has manual ScorpioN will agree, at least the Diesel one. Ive seen people get mileage of 16 kmpl driving at 90kmph. But I've got some really good mileage figures with manual. Bottom line- if you love manual and driving manual makes you feel better. Go for it. Since 70% of your driving is on highway, 30% will be compensated by the happiness you get. But if I have to be honest with you, Automatic is way superior to drive.(Hard clutch is the main problem for heavy traffic) That's the reason why so many are going for Automatic gearbox. 🙂
@@mukulslens Thanks for the detailed reply, Yes The difference in fuel efficiency in automatic is compensated with the comfort you get, nowadays most people want comfort in life, only a few driving enthusiasts like you too go for manual, but really hats off to you, i cannot imagine a manual car in Bangalore 💀💀 Where i live here in uttar Pradesh, out of 100 Scorpio-N sold, only 5-6 are automatic max to max, no-one purchases any kind of automatic in any car here 😂 Also manual keeps you engaged, it's really boring in automatic, especially for youngsters it's enjoyable, but in traffic it's a pain... I'm a little confused for automatic only because of - Nothing to do while driving car if it's an automatic Fuel economy
Hi, Been following your videos for a while now and I love the crisp delivery and the content. Big fan. I’m am currently in gangtok, could you please let me know how to get the permit for changu lake and the costs associated, thanks. Planning on going tomorrow
maps.app.goo.gl/3QPsnAhumzJwKYa38 Reach here by 7 AM. Go to the permit issue room a few good policeman will be sitting, request them to give permit. They will ask you to write a letter, format will be pasted outside the room on a wall. Carry a photocopy of your vehicle RC, the DL copy of person driving, Voters ID copy of the passengers. They will give you the driving permit in 10-15 mins. There is a photocopy shop a little down the road. You might need it. As it is there are no charges for the permit. It's free of cost. You might need to pay heavily for the photocopy, almost 10/- per page per side. So make sure you have photocopies of your DL, RC and Voters ID with you from the start along with a few empty A4 sheets. Have fun and drive safe.
@@mukulslens Thanks a ton! Had asked these travel agents and none of them were ready to help with the permit for private vehicle and were insisting on using a cab. Will keep you updated about tomorrow’s trip!
@@mukulslens hey, got the permit and went to the lake, amazing roads and scenery. Thanks a lot for the help with guiding for the permit, appreciate it.
No vibration. I'll upload a video soon in which it goes on some really bad roads. No vibration issues faced. However, there was one minor issue which I will point out in the video. 🙂
