  • La Toya Jackson, the Queen of Pop, is perhaps the greatest artist of all time to have never gained the mainstream recognition that she deserves. Ten astonishing albums, countless awe-inspiring singles, La Toya's musical opus is as diverse as it is remarkable. How many other artists could take on genres such as disco, pop, reggae, rock, eurohouse and country, and manage to conquer them all?
It is my duty to preserve this musical legacy for future generations. As such, I have been hoarding La Toya's musical releases for several years, and my collection is rapidly expanding. I am sure I will be awarded a Nobel Prize in 2050 for ensuring that this music shall one day reach the audience to which it is destined.
All hail La Toya Jackson, Queen of Pop.

One of the main reason why Latoya never reach a mainstream audience was because she was basically a independent artist for most of her career !! She was signed to small Indi label & she had a distribution deal with a major label. She was never a priority artist at any of the large Multi national record labels. She was never given the big marketing and promotion budget to promote her music, image & music videos to sell her records. Oh yeah by 1986 Janet became a break out star in music so sadly it was all pretty much over for poor Latoya by then. The music industry had chosen two Jackson siblings to be industry stars and sadly it wasn’t Latoya ! 💔😭
