100% respect for speaking up about all the covid bs.
The only thing I will say about COVID is what I experienced in my own apt building at 932 Madison st Brooklyn NY 11221. It's rent controlled because a lot of old people who are in their 60s and over live(d) here and city law prevents a landlord from raising rent on people who lived in a building longer than 15 years and meet a specific age.
My pre-war brownstone and another at the end of the block both had old people living there and they all knew each other and played bingo around the corner at this place called Scottish heritage building, tho nobody was Scottish that went, it was just called that.
In 2020, NYC got hit really, really bad but we are also litterly on top of each other here. 6 people died in my building over a two/three week span.that holds 9 apts, all over 60 and 8 died down the block tho I don't know how many units are in there. The bingo hall was where they most likely got it.
What happens in large cities is not going to mirror what happens in other areas of the country. I don't know how easy or how bad it was for someone in Cleveland Ohio or East Lansing Michigan. I'm not going to assume it was just as bad in small town USA nor would I assume it was all BS because I lived in a small town and that never got bad.
Since then I've gotten it twice but I was already vaccinated and I tested negative at home the first night I was sick but the next day I was fine but came up positive. Since 2020 it hasn't been bad here at all but for awhile all we saw on the local news where bodies being stored all over the place and on top of each other at hospitals etc. People began flying drones over the "Potters Field" where inmates worked to temporarily bury those that died because there where so many and they where there almost daily. You can still UA-cam the videos.
