@@garfeldi7860 well yes it's part of the full episode, but if they wanted to sell it to movie theaters they could cut that portion out. That's what the original comment is saying
@@cheyennehinckley783 I.. I think I know them from like 2 years ago. If they are who I think they are- they wrote a fanfic of them two lmao ;-; They also made a video on Billie Eilish and Shrek but I won’t talk about that one
Yeah, they could've just gone with 2's per episode, but I suppose the animators wanted to flex their skills. Really, kudos to them for this one simple scene!
I recall being a special clip before a show began on Fox and there was another scene like this stuffing theirselves in popcorn in some commercial media for cable or some promotion way back in the mid 90's.
Just as smooth as "I said you're gonna watch this tape, and you're gonna do what I say or I'm gonna do something to you, and I don't know what that is, because EVERYBODY has always done what I say."
I feel like this scene took more of the budget than it needed to
Sams rage expanded the budget
How dare you! This scene was worth every penny and is a blessing to all.
shut up, shut up, its starting
I think the reason the animation is smooth is because this clip is meant to be used out of context for commercial bumpers and such.
thats what i originally thought it was for until i saw the full episode
No, it’s a part of a full episode
@@garfeldi7860 well yes it's part of the full episode, but if they wanted to sell it to movie theaters they could cut that portion out. That's what the original comment is saying
@@DoubtlessCar0 I thought they meant for like that "We'll be right back" and "We're back" bits on TV
I think I never heard Sam being that aggressive to Max.
@@lyrical_deer *Funny joke.*
Same! Even in the phone fights his tone doesn't change.
@@juliechandler9342 idk why but its sound scary he's can be all like "OwO just a doggo with a gun" to "GRROOWLLL SHOOT SHOOT GGRRRR BARK BARK" LIKE 😂😂

**Noir Sam flashbacks**
In the comics Sam is a little more aggressive overall
Why’s the animation so smooth?!
Drawn on ones.
I know right? How!?
@@mackaroni9792 a lot of this episode looks like that (and other random scenes throughout the show. I wonder if the director animated it 🤔
CAUSE THEY KNEW THIS WOULD BE CLIPPED
For a 90's cartoon, ikr?! Sam and Max had a really good production!
This makes me realize how big Max’s head is compared to Sam’s
I mean, Sam did call Max watermelon head at some point. Now I see what he meant by that lmao.
@@bennyytflstudio9729 I think the song "World of Max" refers to them both as having watermelon shaped heads actually! XD
Lol

everyone's talking about the smooth animation and im over here thinking about how unnaturally angey Sam is

Never cross a man and his late night programming 😤
Sam probably knows that the more they talk the more there abusing the budget
This clip is just part of the Sam and max movie in alternate universe
Max just looked at the animation budget and said “this for me?”
It looks interpolated, but this was what originally aired lol
It's cos it's animated on ones :o
Sam and max sakuga lol
Yeah, they could've just gone with 2's per episode, but I suppose the animators wanted to flex their skills. Really, kudos to them for this one simple scene!
It looks way better than interpolated
Wish I knew what that meant so I could agree
Unusually Smooth Animation on "The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police"
That was needlessly aggressive lol
I recall being a special clip before a show began on Fox and there was another scene like this stuffing theirselves in popcorn in some commercial media for cable or some promotion way back in the mid 90's.

me: They look and sound like an old couple.
But they *a r e*
Smooth, yet a bit inconstant with its models.
Just as smooth as "I said you're gonna watch this tape, and you're gonna do what I say or I'm gonna do something to you, and I don't know what that is, because EVERYBODY has always done what I say."
That's exactly what I was thinking

Max: UA-cam Ads
Sam: Me
Show: The video
Why is the animation this smooth lol
it was animated on ones, which leads to a smoother animation, but it takes longer to make compared to animating on twos.
This is a perfect example of when the animators were flexing on us. Great use of the 12 principles of animation, and drawn on ones most of the time.
I see the budget and work of an entire episode went into this short.
This is the only time I've seen sam yell at max it threw me off guard ngl
The scene being animated on ones makes this funnier somehow.
Max had the brain cell in this scene
Damn those feet
Whose?

Fun Fact: Sam also voices *bowser!*

So does Sam
that is some fluid animation
Why is it that a load of scenes with them eating has super smooth animation 😂😂
So the animators pulled a Richard Williams with this scene.
Or a James Baxter
Combo of both then?
Do you think Dan Schneider animated this scene? 👀
Cause of the feet?? 😫
Are you upset the dog let his dogs out
@@mrmr_zoomie the dogs dogs were barking

He sounds like such a boomer xd
God this is animated more fluidly than that one Simpsons scene.
thank you for the light loading expert
quality content my friend
if cartoons were directed by Tarantino
I remember the times my parents would finish the cheese popcorn before the movie starts just when these two aggressively chew and swallow on popcorn.
That's cute hohowww
animating on ones my beloved
I used to think that this was for a commercial
They blew the entire animation budget on this one random scene this is Disney quality animation and for what
This is So Great XD
if you replace the popcorn with beer you'd basically get mike and jay from redlettermedia
How rude to say

Why does Sam sound weird?
I think it's the joke that they sit on front of TV like some 'old fart boomer' marriage that yells at each other.
That’s because he was voiced by Harvy Atkin
