Excellent instruction on forehand mechanics and the proper movement of the elbow! Understanding these fundementals really simplifies the learning of the backhand.
Thanks a lot. I wish he talked more in detail about the role and use of the wrist in the fast loop and loop against underspin within this framework. when i watch players they seem to use the wrist a lot. they bend it more inward to the body..especially against underspin. my problem within it that when i concentrate on bending the wirst back i lose the power from the forearm and only trying to power the wrist until it starts hurting. .also im kind of not able to bend it inward enough without having to lift the elbow too much, which contradicts what Fang is teaching here..Can someone help to understand the correct role and use if the wrist within the framework explained in this video? Thanks a lot
Watch how Bernadette Szocs does it or even Paul Drinkhall. Their technique produces more spin less speed. They start with the racket pointing down… you can increase the speed and spin as you develop wrist strength and feeling over time.
I’ve learnt so much from this channel in a short amount of time. Great videos

Excellent foundational video for BH! As someone who does not have access to a coach locally I really appreciate this excellent content.

Thanks for all the vids. One thought that suddenly came to my mind after watching so many of your vids is to ask if this is your real voice or AI?
