As someone who has Jamaican family, everyone from Jamaica is not black. If you look up Kamala’s father, the info says he is from Jamaica. He comes from family who were slave owners. Some where deep down there was a black woman in his family but it was very long ago. If that tiny percentage makes Kamala black, then so be it. Just know that she herself never stood as a black woman. There are many Indians that will identity as black for the purpose of benefits like college. Goggle it and you will find stories of darker Indians identifying as black to gain entry into colleges. The flat out say they do. Non black people go to HBCUs as well. Association does not make you black just like living in or being from Jamaica does not make you black.
