Just a few things to add...
The Avrta and Rangbali dont destroy for cost, they also dont need to be on the field to resolve the effect meaning that you can chain kirin and then pop the kirin

Super helpful Video! Especially for someone like me who just plays every now and than. If you could create more of those ruling videos of state of the art decks it would help a lot ❤ In addition for a non native english speaker I really like your clear and slow pace voice. It makes understanding much easier 👍

This is a VERY unlikely scenario but I think it's a ruling worth knowing to avoid confusion:
If you activate Arvata's or Rangbali's effect to negate and only have ONE other fire monster to destroy (either on the field or your hand), and for some reason you lose possession of that other fire monster during this chain, the negation STILL HAPPENS but you must show your hand to your opponent so that he see's you're not lying. This happens because their destruction effect is NOT a cost.
    Example:
*You have Arvata and another fire king monster face up on the field.
*These are the ONLY fire monsters you currently have.
*Your opponent activates a monster effect (chain 1).
*You activate Arvata's negation (chain 2)
*You activate Fire King Sky Burn, target your other fire king monster and a card on your opponent's field (chain 3)
    Resolution:
*Sky burn destroys the targeted cards.
*Arvata negates but since you have nothing to destroy anymore you must show your hand to your opponent.

Hey man I just found your channel and have been loving your videos! If at all possible do you think you could do a budget upgrade for the legendary decks 2? My girlfriend and I got them recently to get back into yugioh and we both think the decks could use some tweaking, but we suck with deck building/upgrades. Any input at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

A bit late but i had trouble finding something on that exact topic. A lot of cards in the deck say: summon monster, negate its effect, it ia destroyed during Ep.
Now i wonder if the effects are negated would a on destruction effect of the special summoned monster still trigger? I know that effects that say " if destroyed and send to gy" do but im not sure on this one. My reasoning is that it hasnt changed location. Or does this just mean it dosnt care where it goes after destruction?
I play the tcg as a hobby with friends so some of the newer rules are hard to make sence of.
Btw great video! The firat one really helped me. Used to summon my whole hand on one trigger which felt disgusting haha

@@Micahangelo_YT I'll answer that for ya. If your opponent uses something like feather duster then yes the only thing left would be the field spell. If they use twin twister and target the sanctuary and the island you can only protect the island. if they use MST and target your island you can protect it fully.

Nice video thx. What about the Echelon? The 3 summoning must be one for each origin or we can summon both with the same origin? eg. 3 from deck or from grave.

Question: Suppose you use fire king island to pop Arvata with Ponix in grave and garunix in hand - is the garunix forced to be chain link 1 to summon itself from hand, or can you use it to chain block the Arvata's effect to bring back the ponix?

Q: Say on the follow-up, your board is the island plus Hyang the xyz with two materials including sacred garunix. If you pop the xyz to search, could sacred garunix trigger to summon itself from GY since it was material when the monster was destroyed? Thank you.

    • @serachobby
      @serachobby  Рік тому +1

No, this is clarified on the card - garunix does not have to be in the hand to 'see' the destruction, but it does have to be in the graveyard. However Hyang could special garunix back with its own effect, and garunix could then use its effect.

Question - what does the phrase "your monster" on Garunix and Ponix mean exactly? Does it refer to monsters you control, or also monsters in other places like the hand or deck?
For example, I'm holding High Kirin, Sacred Garunix and some other Fire King monster. I destroy that Fire King monster in the hand to summon Kirin. Does this trigger Garunix's effect?

    • @serachobby

Yes, garunix/ponix can trigger off any fire monster you own being destroyed, including in the hand/deck.

Maybe thats a dumb question. You already have fire king island on the field, but if you activate a second copy of fire king island (or any other field spell of that matter), would the old copy of fire king island, which goes to the gy, activate its field destruction effect, because it left the field ?
    Thank you

    • @serachobby
      @serachobby  Рік тому +1

Fire king island doesn't care what causes it to leave the field, as long as it ends up in the GY or banished face up, it will activate. If it is banished face down, or returned to the hand or deck, it will not activate.

Would the Kirin that got popped trigger effect to special from grave?

No because the destruction is a part of the whole effect, you destroy then add after that you start another chain based on the destruction

    Curious
    Sequence goes as follows:
Island pops Ponix, searching Sacred Garunix which activates its effect in hand on CL1
As a QE I activate High Kirin, popping Sacred Garunix.
Can I summon the Garunix from GY, having originally activated its effect from the hand?

Hello im a newbie fireking user question,
During opponents turn, I only have Arvata on my field and I have my Kirin on the graveyard.
Opponents turn Attacked my Arvata, arvata would special summon Kirin(NEGATED EFFECTS DUE TUE ARVATA'S SPECIAL SUMMON EFFECTS)
Then opponent end turn. (KIRIN will go back ti graveyard)
My question is will Kirin's effect to special summon 1 fireking from graveyard to field will resolve???
Is arvata's 2nd effect (Special summon 1 fire monster and negates it's effect) only applies on the monster's effect on the field??

    • @serachobby
