I cannot accept what Sakaja is saying. We are more advanced/developed than Tanzania. Go to Dar Es Salaam and see how clean that city is. There are some areas in Nairobi where you cannot even walk freely because of the smell. It is so strong that it can even stick to your clothes. There is litter everywhere. What the hell is he even saying???
Sakaja has failed Nairobian. He's one of the most corrupt governor like his uncle Oparanya. Look at Umoja 2 Zone 8 where I recently visited. There is no water, the sewage system was created on the road and the streets are above the flats. There is a very poor planning. Nairobi needs a proper Gen-Z governor. The idea of governors competing against one another of who'll be the richest by 2030 Kenyans are feed up.

Recycle reuse Governor. Study other cities who manage waste better. The county can make money from waste. Composte as all kenyans are wakulima, sell the composte to the government avoid fertilizer scandals. How about a biogas plant... think outside that box.

Nairobi City County having employed over 3000 green army, should be able to collect gabbage in Nairobi without using private gabbage collectors...only less than a quarter of the over ksh300 million every month paid to Sudi by Sakaja is more than enough for the county to buy and maintain its own gabbage collection trucks. This gabbage collection tenders are just a conduit to loot NCCG coffers YET Nairobi is drowning in gabbage in CBD and it's estates!
