Love watching y’all catch fish and give out pointers. Thanks a lot
You’re welcome!
It’s great to see you guys showing the youngsters how to put in the work and catch fish.
I think they are like me by now, before you know it 6 hrs went by and feels like 2 hrs.
Thank you, Boone Boys, for great content, image, and sound quality. 👌
Keep those amazing vidoes comin'!
Thank you so much!!
Another great video guys!!
Thanks!
Great video as always
Thanks as always!
Great video!
Thanks!
You make great videos. Why you don’t get more views is a crime. Wife and I are headed to keystone in a few minutes. We are very casual fishing people. We just beach the boat, crack a beer, then on the tunes and wait for a rod to start dancing
lol. Thanks for the compliment. I haven’t been to keystone in a long time. Beautiful lake. Good luck out there!
I’m subscribing because I’m a fellow okie who loves fishing.
Thanks we appreciate it!
Awesome action packed video👌.Dad was waiting on the 3:30pm bite 😂.
Can you make a video on the 2D and Si imaging when looking for these wipers?
Lol. You bet, I’ll try and get one made.
This are some nice Hybrids! They are a blast to catch!
We are sure getting cooked here in East Texas!
Maybe ½" of rain since the end of May!
Been over 100 degrees for nearly a month.
Headed to the lake tomorrow, early. Trying to beat the heat and fish the moon over head!
I didn’t realize you all were that dry. Normally that’s us here in western Oklahoma. Good luck out there.
2k.... come on!🎉
Great video! Would you mind sharing the rig you use? Is it just a carolina rig? Been wanting to target some hybrids.
In the next video I’m putting out I talked about the rig. But yea it’s a Carolina rig.
Can confirm similar conditions here in central to north central Oklahoma, cooler and way wetter than normal. Last two trips to Sooner lake in Perry & liberty lake in Guthrie we got bites but was inconsistent. A fish every 15-20 minutes roughly.
There wasn’t the expected early morning/late evening bite when it would typically be just lights out for an hour or two. Had to do a lot of searching. Water also warm & murky.
The other funny thing is the baitfish (bluegill) in Liberty were nowhere to be found in their typical spots. Sam & I were there trying to do a bait run, stock up on bluegill since we use them for catfish bait. Caught literally everything except for bluegill: largemouth, channel cat, crappie & drum.
Question: I hear you running your splasher in the back but why no thumper? Too shallow or is that more a wintertime attractant?
I think Mid August will be lights out fishing.
We rarely use thumper in the summer days. Below 20’ we just don’t seem to use it that much. I can’t say for sure if it scares away fish or still attracts them in shallow water, we seem to have as good of luck with splasher only in those depths. I’d like to hear what other people are doing….
@@BooneBoys appreciate the clarification on the thumper.
As far as what others are doing, James you’ve seen my boat vs yours. You could square dance with the missus on the back of yours. I don’t have room for much of a bait tank without getting really creative. Also I can’t toss a casting net to save my life. I’m solidly in the trolling school of thought: dragging umbrella rigs, swimbaits and crank baits behind a dipsy diver at depth.
That’s why I want those boards: I can finally mount my downriggers and have much more accurate depth control for trolling. Dipsy divers I’m guesstimating, even with a line counter.
Lol. I think I could find a spot for a small bait tank on your boat, and a few throws in the backyard with a 6’ net and the Shad wouldn’t stand a chance.
@@BooneBoys James I'm always up for learning. Lemme get these track boards and maybe some new carpet on Sheila (aka the Other Woman as Christina calls her) and yeah, I'm 100% down for a compact bait tank & casting net lesson.
And agree, as soon as the weather is consistent it's gonna be lights out.
I’m on the fence about how the weather has been. We need the rain but when it does the humidity levels are unbearable. And that’s typically the case for June, but now it’s the middle of July and it’s still raining occasionally. Definitely messing with the fishing patterns of stability which is what these fish like. Shout out from north Texas.
It’s been a weird year for sure, I can’t remember the humidity and moisture like this in July around these parts. Reminds me of Florida.
@@BooneBoys I say that same thing too
