I Tried Hardcore Nuzlocking Pokémon Vintage White’s POST GAME Elite Four

Drew takes on DrewNova’s post game Elite 4 challenge using some of his favorite Pokémon. These fights are no joke!
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only obtain my first met Pokémon in each location
3. Must nickname all Pokémon
4. No items in battle (held items allowed)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader
6. Must play on “Set” battle mode
Additional Rules for this run:
7. No legendary or mythical Pokémon allowed
8. No stat-boosting moves (i.e. Swords Dance and Nasty Plot) allowed
9. EVs removed (built-in feature)
10. Weather Moves + Abilities Banned
11. Gems banned

Pokémon Vintage White is a VERY challenging rom hack by NotSuicuu ( / notsuicuu ) that only features Pokémon from the first three generations for the entirety of the main game (generation IV and V Pokémon become available in the post game). Many of these Pokémon have received changes to their typings, base stats, abilities, and/or movepools in order to make them more viable in battle.

This is one of the few post games I took the time to nuzlocke. Well worth the extra time as the gen 4/5 mons are pretty insane. Found marshall to be my toughest matchup by a pretty significant margin. Cool seeing someone do this without the ray/thundy combo people usually bring

Yeah I really enjoy this post game for nuzlocking! I wish more post games were viable for the challenge. How did your Elite 4 go?

@@drewco3389 good. got through the main 4 deathless, sacked into alder so it was free. My team was Sceppy/Kingler/Emboar/Ray/Thundy/Samurott. Despite having two legends emboar was the MVP. Disgustingly good. Rock head + night daze is insane. Samurott does a lot of what wrath did. I also took on some of the optional bosses which were a ton of fun too

Nice! I remember being disappointed I didn't encounter an Ember because it looked disgusting. I originally had plans to fight all the optional bosses, but I was going on vacation at the time so I only had a couple days to plan for and record the E4 haha
