Fuck. I remember every second of that Rust In Peace show when they came to Houston. My brother and my friend (we are in a band) were lucky to go. We live in the Dallas area, and Houston is pretty far. Thank god we went, because it was the most inspiring thing we have ever seen. We are so close, and I have no doubt we will have a successful band in the future. I thank Megadeth, for making beautiful music, and inspiring us to take it upon our selves and many others to make sure metal never dies.

Dave is very smart, and not to mention blessed. He's one of my biggest role models. Glad to see he isn't still moping about the whole Metallica/Megadeth thing. @GolecWTF It's a good album, but that was their biggest drift from their style other than Risk. I enjoy everything they've put out except for Risk, but when I think Megadeth, I think heavy hitting metal, not small traces of metal mixed with pop and mainstream rock
man Dave is a legend in metal. and like a couple of u said, his point of view on many subjects is the one we should all have. specially if u have a religious background. and megadeth still kicks major ass.i saw them back in august. rust in peace haters!!! (polaris is so hard to play)

I LOOOOOOVE Slayer and Anthrax is pretty cool, but I think I would actually prefer a Metallica/Megadeth US Tour than the Big Four, just because Megadeth is my favorite band and Metallica is awesome, and I want both of them to have long setlists, not just Metallica.
@DTOMUSA74 Except that album sales isn't what's kept them off the Big 4. The big four is exclusive to Thrash metal. That's like being surprised that Michael Jackson wasn't in the Big 4.

He's drumming is good but not as good as some that I've heard. I think the drummer for "Fear Factory" Jean Hoglan to me at the present time is the best as far as speed,complexity, etc. But Metallica is my favorite band.

It's your opinion that Pantera doesn't compare musically. In my opinion they're so amazing that even though I prefer Megadeth I certainly wouldn't use that to take away from what Pantera accomplished. You could say that some of their music was slow. But definitely not weak.

Dime was great, but Pantera just does nothing for me musically. It's slow and weak. Some stuff they have is decent, but overall I don't care for it.
Power metal is pretty fast with Some complex part , riffs and mindblowing Solos
