People have completely FORGOTTEN that game against the Mavs. That was the most dominant performance I have seen (I'm 41 y.o) in an NBA game against a high-caliber team. 62 in 3 quarters, outscores a 60+-win team w/ the MVP, doesn't play the 4th quarter. Nothing's even close.
Kobe’s 81 adjusted for inflation is like 120 points. His 63 in 3 quarters OUTSCORING the whole Mavericks team will never be done again. You could have 80 going into the 4th and more than likely the game score is like 90-95. Defense isn’t the same.
