- Die Song Contest-Siegern der letzten fünf Jahre treten im zweiten Semifinale als Interval-Act im auf. Mit dabei sind neben Lena auch Alexander Rybak, der 2009 für Norwegen gewinnen konnte, Dima Bilan aus Russland, Marija Šerifović aus Serbien und natürlich die beiden Vorjahressieger Ell & Nikki.

That would be awesome, though i think Portugal might still win. Also, that wouldn't be possible, since not all of them are alive. For example this year Lys Assia died earlier in 2018 so not possible.

Azerbaijan gave us one of the best shows! Oriental version of 'Satelite' was awesome...the others were also great.Marija has magnificent voice as always

This is for some reason my first time watching this so to start
1.Dima is 99,9% drunk and totally out of tune
2.Wasnt Marija supposed to go before him?
3.Molitva was sang amazingly but it would sound better if others joined as vocals
4.Fairytale and Satellite were amazing
5.Lena is so adorable
6. Waterloo was saved my Marija and Alexander and ruined by Dima
7. In Waterloo Marija was lead singer, Alexander musician, Lena dancer, Ell&Nikki vocals and Dima drunk fan that tried to sing the song but failed

in regards to 2) I think they choreographed it in a certain way to showcase the best of the songs. Molitva kicks in magnificently later into the song whereas Dima's song has a very similar tempo throughout

Marija Šerivović singlehandedly overpower 5 ESC winner voices when they performed Waterloo. You could barley hear the other singers. Honestly, she saved that Waterloo performance and it would've probably been better if only she sang the song.
But to be fair: Dimas microphone seemed to have some troubles with the volume during the Waterloo performance. But maybe it was better this way cause he didn't seemed to be sober that evening anyway XD

It was actually because of the fact that Waterloo by ABBA had been chosen as the best winner in ESC throughout the history earlier that year and baku honored the song :)

I'm a little late but wanted to answer anyway. Violin is a part of Alexander. Like if he's on stage, he will bring his violin by his side. If you noticed he didn't sing Waterloo (the last song), he only played the violin. That's what he does. He's not only a singer but also a violinist. Azerbaijan can't and didn't tell him not to bring his violin. Plus, when they announced that the name of the interval act is "last 5 years' winner eurovision entries with traditional Azerbaijani instruments" they didn't mean the whole song was played by only Azerbaijani instruments.
