0:49 the police saying "we are passing through red light. please stop for seconds. please give way, taxi driver-san move a little bit forward please.we are passing through red light. excuse me. thank you. "
k klp Even their cops are so nice
You just made my day.
That's smart. I wonder why more countries don't use their PA's at all.
Taxi driver-san?
I hope you aren’t punking me
I love Tokyo's siren so much.
inr i love the siren in tokyo
first time i heard it was midnight club 2

I like their siren too.

犬かわいい
It's pretty cool that they still use rotary light bars, kickin' it old school.
0:10 「emergency vehicle go straight at the red traffic light intersection please stop i will go straight please stop and wait i will go straight thanks for your cooperation」2:00「the red light will go straight on. please stop and wait」3:28 「emergency vehicle green light turn right please stop and wait」
Those Japanese Police Officers are using their radio and a megaphone to excuse and to passing on a heavy traffic. And they apologize.
This is why I like japan. People are really nice!
But it might get irritated for some people like me of loudspeaker speaking.
@Allen S No my area is near the train track.
Strange.
@@LITTLE1994 That's my friend a *Politeness* ...
1:32 Very rarely do I see police cars in Japan using blue warning lights. Usually always red.
Oh yeah, I also really appreciate seeing the politeness of Japanese people everywhere, including on the road
Actually the car with the blue lights is not police, i was told it is security.
@@rescue911.eu-worldwideemer3 Oh I didn't know that, I thought it was a medical vehicle.
@@reminiscer15 medical vehicle is red lights bruh

yeah i can definitely tell by the walking
Right? Not just the police but firefighters aswell which also surprised me when I was in tokyo.
they be doing their jobs while being polite as hell, i love that
Their police sirens sound more like air raid sirens. 😂
Yes they do
I might know why 🗿
More effective than some countries though.
@NTF SQUAD 67 LMAO, gonna give the old timers there flashbacks. XD
@@papapalpatine8513 XD
Greetings from Japan, in principle, car drivers
cannot go without observing the traffic light. However, police and ambulances are allowed to ignore the signal only when heading to the scene. So they're telling other car drivers, "We'll go straight. Please avoid.Thank you (for your corporation )”
cooperation
@Allen S your comment makes no sense, he probably mistyped so I corrected him

Japan - such a different country compare to EU/US or any other country in the world in many ways. It is very interesting watching this difference :o). Thanks for uploading this video 👍

CITY
REALLY? BLUE LIGHT'S are City Patrol vehicle's, is that like a security guard vehicle, because here in my hometown of CONCORD, NH (USA) our security vehicle's are GREEN LIGHTED and our Police Vehicle's are ALL BLUE LIGHTED including the unmarked vehicle's too.
The car with the blue warning light is not a police vehicle, but a vehicle owned by the local government that protects the safety of children.
I'm using Google Translate
Why is Google Translate translating Japanese to English almost flawlessly yet when I translate English to Spanish, it is plagued with grammar issues.

The Japanese emergency siren is such a unique sound!
Especially from a European perspective as most EU sirens are more or less the same high-low-high-low pattern
@Ben Chu I was thinking the same thing.
Yep that's true, also some USA ambulances have the high-low high-low sirens but are usually combined with other variations.

1:32 This is not a police but a watchman
Lol Japanese are so polite; the driver announces: “Get out of the way please, emergency!”. In America we’d just yell, “FUCK OUTTA THE WAY!”
Their sirens are completely different than what I thought they would sound like. I thought it would sound like the "Blue Shell" siren in the old Mario Kart games. Theirs ironically sound like an air raid siren!
I like car police japan
From vietnam 🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
Love japan 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
0:10 Intersting to see a 4 Man Patrol Car, just like in New York, LA, and Chicago
The police are so polite...
What a polite-sounding siren...
This is the reason why i love Japan, because they're very polite and respectful like their Police Officers
Watching from the 🇵🇭
Edit: at 1:35... not a Police Car, that's a Crime Prevention Security Car... They used to patrol the area to protect children and other citizens of Japan and also it was owned by the Government
Other countries could learn a lot from Japan's police.
Why specially ? 🤔
Politeness and respect, sure. But Japanese police are famously lax at dealing with serious crime. They prefer to sweep it under the rug so that their crime record stays untarnished.
Once really futuristic. Now overtaken by time. Still cool to see.
@Allen S your mother called, you need to get back home to get schooled and learn some manners you fool.
Nice police cars, but very different with red lights, instead of blue.
Surprised that most vehicles still have rotating warning lights, they are so power hungry. Air raid siren is good.
Craig Claassen leftover supplies while in america they keep increasing the budget and buying new stuff. the taxi vehicles in japan are ancient as you see from the 90s but they maintain and upkeep their equipment through the years.
The newer ones still have rotating warning lights but, have LEDs in lieu of halogen bulbs.

What are they saying through the speakers?
Recorded voices for example asking to give way or to prevent the vehicle from reaching an intersection.
@@PowerV_AndCo Not recorded, they actually speak through the loudspeaker
Because they don’t stop. Have to caution emergency vehicle coming. If voice is recorded, they don’t actually move. Voice power
Probably something like "MAKE WAY! MAKE WAY! PLEASE! WE'RE IN A HURRY!"

1:42 why are the lights blue?
Is the instructions coming from the car a recorded message or one of the police officers on a tannoy?
Japanese police biggest flaw, They have only red police lights, as you can see the the police minivan at 1:16 Its lights are getting mixed up with taillights, which are also red.
I like this video I want to go to Tokyo One Day

WOW. Japanese emergency vehicles talk more than even news reporters
Japanese cops really love using the mic.

Sounds better then the sirens in Germany... much better.
Japanese police: please move over we are going through a red light, thank you
American police: *MOVE TO THE SIDE OF THE F U C K I N G ROAD*
Well you also know that A. No American cops are not going to yell that through a PA system. B. America is a different place entirely the people are much more rebellious and aren’t as respectful as the Japanese, American police have to adapt to that. C. While Japanese police are unarmed and polite they also have a 99% conviction rate meaning you’ll most likely be sent to jail if you are arrested and you’re also guilty until proven innocent unlike the innocent until proven guilty system American law uses.
Just to say comment is stupid and pointless and I was just try a make a joke...

morally speaking, it is very polite. But effectively, it is quite slow. For me, i pretty much prefer the US siren as their are loud enough to get the traffic's attention of your presence. People's lives and safety is much more important than people's feelings
1:38 WHAAAAAAT? BLUE LIGHTS IN JAPAN?

YES city Office car.
Blue Lights is a Crime Prevention Security Car
This vehicle does not belong to the police. This will be used by local governments to independently patrol their areas.

something i've always wondered, what do blue lights mean in japan regarding emergency vehicles and such.
@川端実矩 Ahh I see, Thanks.
Blue is used as a Security... Meaning at 1:35, the car with the Blue Lights is a Crime Prevention Security Car, used for protecting the Children and other Citizens
Is the people actually talking into the intercom things or is it a ai thing?
