Thanks for putting this on You Tube. I worked for WSIL for 3 years before I joined the Army and Deputy Dawg was always my favorite cartoon. It is just a shame channel 3 dosen't have a show like this for the kids. Who know's maybe one day someone at the station will consider putting the old show back on.
this is my favorite episode - so CUTE! They should put out a DVD box set with interviews, deleted eps, a "making of" documentary, and much more. Awesome stuff!!!
This is from my childhood...loved this stuff, along with Hashimoto the Japanese House Mouse, Little Audrey, Caspar, Hector Heathcote, Tennesse Tuxedo, Herman and Catnip, Baby Huey, The Might Heroes, etc. post more if you have more
I wonder if the supeer heroes who used to come on with deputy dawg are on here somewhere? Does any one remember their name ( group name/ name of show )? I remember the characters: Baby-Man Strong-Man Rope-Man Tornado-Man Cucoo-Man Did I miss one?
I went through some serious shit when they took off the Saturday morning cartoons! I had only been watching them, every Saturday morning, since I was about 3 or 4, (?). I remember getting up , (it was like, instinctive), sitting on the floor Indian style and watching these OLD silent cartoons, (they came on at 5am). The old Farmer Grey cartoons, the sing along with the bouncing moon......Looney Tunes would come on and it wz all over. Under Dog, Top Cat, Mutley, Quick Draw McDraw, El Kabong (KABONG!!!!) - only now do I see El Ka-BONG! XD
chaosdemonwolf1 For real. No Bullwinkle and Rocky, we had it made with our cartoons, they were enterprising, made witty jokes. Bullwinkle and Rocky did turn on kids learning prowess. i.e. There must be a rouse for cooking his goose. and a kid could understand what rouse meant, through context!
what was the name of the cartoon about the american revolution, made by the same company? in an episode there was a parody on franklin's lightning experiment.
ive asked everyone i know if they remember the baby-man, tornado-man, etc. no one knew what i was talkin about. i couldnt remember the name of the show.
@OldMrMemories LoL!!!! If you notice @ 1:19 little nephew didnt listen! Just like your Granny!!!!!! @ 1:24 they tell em "you stick with us and we'll show you a real good time" Granny fell for it too!!!! I guess no one listened to g'ol grandad LOL, LOL, LOL

Wow!!! I haven't seen Deputy Dog in YEARS!!!! Always liked that cartoon!
Musky has retained enough pride to wear a yellow diaper but Mr. Van Gopher goes au natural. That's life in the backwoods for you.
Dayton Allen as DD is just brilliant. Listen to a master at work - real skill and very funny...
