April 2024 & I Thank you sooo very much! I, 57 yr old female, purchased my Rigid Vac, saw the extra parts and came straight to UA-cam and just like I knew it, YT NEVER disappoints! I definitely appreciate you for helping me to assemble my vac! Thank Goodness for YT & Thank you Sir for thanking your precious time to enlighten us!❤❤
Thanks for the video. It saved me some time instead of looking at the owners manual to 😢 it together. The only problem was you put the handles on the shop vac backwards without a doubt.
I am a big fan of Ridgid tools as well, Cary, and the vac I bought is a bit smaller capacity than yours, but it works great! Haha, I also noticed that you wear Merrell shoes like me and that's pretty cool!
Omg thank you so much for this. Bought one at Home Depot recently they are on sale for $60! Same with a microwave they are selling rn lol. Anyway. Thank you!!
I googled it and this came up! But right there with you both I didn’t know either lol The hole in the front of your Shop-Vac is used to vacuum up debris and water. The hole in the back allows you to connect the hose to it and use it as a blower.
Use a hammer for the wheels! They are tough! No complaints overall! Maybe clips instead of the push-in buttons to take off the lid but even then it seems fine!
Glad I am not the only one having hell with the wheels.
First instructional video that doesn’t go 20 minutes!! Thank you!!!
Thanks Chris for watching.
Very well done video!!
Just bought my first home and my first shop vac. Never been so excited to vacuum something in my life!
Thanks, my Rigid shop vac is awesome.

I almost died putting the damn rollers into place , my hands need 50 months to heal now
Sorry to hear that 🙁
I agree with others; very helpful, very well produced, very easy. Good on ya!
Much appreciated!
Thank you!! Because of your video I got my shop vac assembled all by myself!!
Great, thanks for watching!

Are you talking about the storage latches? That is how the manual illustrates the install.
Thank you. You made assembly easier than reading instructions 👍🏾💯
You're welcome!
Thank you so much I just put mine together
Great, thanks for watching.
This saved my life I never put anything together without breaking it lol thank you
You're welcome!!
I can’t get the casters to snap in either
Push hard and twist as you push.
@@Iscaper great advice thanks 🙏🏽
Can give a tap with a hammer or rubber mallet
stump on it with your foot
I got stuck here too. Eventually just pushing super hard for a while finally got them in

Looks like great minds think alike! I love Merrell shoes and have been wearing them for years.
Thank you Sir very helpful!!
Thanks!

Great video the wheel are little hard to snap in need a lot of force
Yes they are.
Yep, that took me the longest! But I am not very strong, I guess I shouldn’t have stopped lifting weights! 😂
@@Iscaper great 👍
It was a real pain in the a$$ to get rollers into caster feet.
Sorry to hear that 🙁
@@Iscaper thank you! I eventually got it, thanks to your video! Great video nonetheless and it really, really helped me! 👍‼️
Dude these rollers will not snap into place on mine!!! Grabbing the lube
@@taranhagen9381 good luck, keep at it, it will go in.
Same problem here. I stoop and jumped on the casters and all my weight still won't make them snap in.
This might sounds dumb but how do you close the whole in the back so the air don’t keep coming out?
Same question!!!!
I googled it and this came up! But right there with you both I didn’t know either lol

Great tutorial, only thing that was wayyy more of a process for me was installing the casters, it’s 20 degrees while I’m doing this so go figure
Thanks for watching!
Did you ever put a muffler diffuser on it or is it ok not shooting a bunch of junk out the back?
What do you do if the casters won’t pop into place? Pushing really hard and they won’t pop in and just fall out
Push until they pop in, a really tight fit for sure
Use a hammer for the wheels! They are tough!

Rubber mallet 👍
I didn’t get any screws with mine! Wtf?!?
I would return it.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Cool thank you
Thanks for watching.
Thanks
Welcome!
Im missing some parts.
I would return it.
Use a hammer to put rollers worked for me
Hopefully it was a rubber hammer 👍
First!
