This season, lies are uncovered and relationships are strained, but love always finds a way. Ashley and Michael have healed from their loss and are ready to work on expanding their family, but the word on the street in Potomac is that Michael has to deal with some serious allegations. Meanwhile, Monique is ready to deliver her new bundle of joy and focus on her entrepreneurial endeavors, but her husband Chris is not ready to say good-bye to his baby-making days. Karen and Ray are pushing through their troubles, while still watching everyone else with a side eye, as Karen launches one of her biggest ventures. Gizelle has a tale she wants to tell with her upcoming book launch, and she is also working on mending her friendships and revitalizing her love life. Meanwhile, love is blooming in Potomac as Candiace and Chris are knee deep in wedding planning. However, Candiace’s mother, Dorothy, has an opinion on everything, making one wonder who is actually in control. Robyn and Juan have found their groove finding their way back to each other as Robyn also works on her property investment goals. With all the trials and tribulations ahead, will these ladies be able to keep it cute and classy?

Elle. Her behavior screams jealousy. It’s not about who is better. Sometimes people are envious of others because their perception is that the persons life is somehow better. Ashley is taken care of by her man and just had a baby. Maybe Candace can’t have kids. You never know. But she definitely acts jealous.

And I honestly don't know how y'all put up with it, but tI guess since she's Robyn, and Gizelle's friend and she's not talking about them it's cool, cause when Karen was going through her stuff with the taxes, she was very disrespectful to her as her elder first of all, then when Karen told her to back off and their business wasn't her business, or any of their business unless she told it to them, and she didn't, that was way out of line to me . But that's just it. Those were ROBYN and KAREN's issues with Ashley and they were quite able to confront Ashley themselves. They don't need Candiace being their mouthpiece. Marcus Carrington Candiace issue was never with Ashley initially it was with Monique befriending Ashley after all the shit they both talked about each other. Hell I’d be side eyeing my friend as well if they all of sudden became bosom buddies with the same person they dragged and were dragged by just last year. Then Ashley, as she always does, took dig after dig at Candiace until Candiace fired back and never stopped. Ashley shouldn’t dish is out if she can’t take it.

What I read once was that Bravo, was working to get a cut of anyone's business, that was started and promoted on the show. This was apparently due to the lucrative deal Bethany got for Skinny Girl Margarita. I read this some years back, didn't take it as gospel as all the individuals who are cast on these reality shows have agents and/or lawyers negotiating their individual deals every season.

And if she were able to (she’s not) another man with some money (They have very little obviously), she’d ditch Uncle Remus lickity split.
And Candace is JEALOUS of Ashley because she landed a millionaire and Candace has settled for a cook/restaurant assistant manager with 3 kids (that he doesn’t see), with 3 baby mamas.
Obviously Candace was desperate and felt that she couldn’t do any better.
And what happened to her hair extensions business with her sister (that her mother was bankrolling)?
And at least Ashley and her mother have mended their relationship and even Michael is accepting of her now.
And Candace isn’t speaking to her mother, probably because she no longer uses her for money, or Dorothy finally cut she and her (sweet but) broke husband off.
And Karen is looking like a trying waaaaay too hard to look young and be close friends with girls young enough to be her granddaughters.
Notice how she has no storyline and no social gatherings nor functions like she used the make up and pretend in season one.
Both ladies are just as much a gold digger as Ashley. Except Ashley does love Michael and supports him 100%.
Whereas when Karen and ray had/have tax issues, she quickly and vehemently separated herself from Ray and his tax problems.
She kept stating that he has money issues but she’s loaded and not affected by his problems.
Surely someone else remembers all that.

My take on things is that Ashley and Candice are a lot alike. The only difference is that Candice would have been a victim of colorism. Ashley is the light skinned girl and Candice is not. You can't tell me Candice doesn't have some serious battle scars from trying to live in the pageant world. Dark skinned girls haven't generally get celebrated there until fairly recently. Ashley represents all those little light skinned girls that have always seemed to outshine her.

This is all entertainment at the end of the day but Candice’s true self comes out when she gets mad. It’s like Rudy Huxtable lost all her good manners. I stopped watching this show after Season 1 and for some reason started watching it again. This show has potential to be as popular as Atlanta if they keep Karen, Giselle and Monique. All three ladies are quick with the comebacks and not whiny. They are missing a Porsha, someone fun and into the latest fashions. They are also missing a professional like Phaedra, someone who is articulate and smart with her own money.
Tropically Mixed I agree they do need someone whose funny and light hearted. I think they try to use Robyn for that but it’s not working.
