While I’m sensitive to Monique’s history, there have been multiple issues with misplaced rage & anger, and multiple scenes with pastors & therapists across the seasons. At what point does the behind the scenes work get put in to address the trauma, because otherwise the backstory simply becomes nothing more than an excuse for bad behaviour? 🤔
I would understand if she actually apologized to Candiace. She tells EVERYONE ELSE but the person she actually assaulted that she's remorseful, but then makes excuses for the behavior. Her entire response makes no sense to me. I'm with you...I need some backstory to understand her behavior.

Most of those stories have nothing to do with Candiace and don’t explain how Candiace gets assaulted but people that actually deserve the smoke don’t get it.
