Best sonata of Yasaye romantic with a sad note later springs to joy happiness... Kim played so well with touch of virtuosity smooth seamless legato.... Salutations from India.

I would recommend you to check out Bach's violin sonatas too, Ysaye was heavily influenced by bach (if you can listen to Bach, you would be able to tell quickly by the polyphonic qualities of the sonatas)

She's rushing and forgets who this was dedicated to or doesn't have an understanding of kreisler.

Yes ,I think she would just pack it in and start sending out resumes .....I bet she could work at McDonald's, since she is so speedy....lol....I've played violin many years ....I've got everything Bach ever written for violin memorized a few paganini caprice, and a bunch of other stuff....really now this sounds fine....I really don't think she rushes .....well mabey a tiny bit,but then again many not.....anyways she's probably a virtuoso.....have a good one...Steve....I guess i see where you are coming from....I got a go .....back to burger flipping....nova Scotia does not appreciate talented violinists....they crush all of them....every good one leaves this province, I live on a horse farm and I play mostly for my animals....I also have 5 big violin concerto memorized....sympony nova scotia is a frat orchestra....

      Kreisler?

Could you tell us how an understanding of Kreisler would influence her playing, in your opinion? And also what you feel would be the influence of, say, 'understanding' Mathieu Crickboom on a performance of the 5th Sonata?Or Szigeti on the 1st? Thank you.

@@thingo308 i think her performance is great and this piece was written by ysaye but it is indeed dedicated to Kreisler
