That was one of the most genuine. Funny maps. When you guys hit the grapple together omg I couldn't stop laughing.
The title made me think the way it would work would be the floor of the field had negative friction for the ball only, so when the ball is on the ground it would speed up rather than slow down, but when the ball is in the air it would act normal. Not sure if this is possible, but I feel like it would be fun to see!

You could add zones that slow the ball down and some that just inverse momentum. Shuffle them around the map and boom! Tasty chaos.

Leth! I have a few ideas! So basically as the game time increases each players drunkness increases ( basically some filter or something is increased and blur and stuff like that). The filter is reset every goal. Another idea is every now and again all players or only one or 2 go blind at random times. My final idea is that a player is the ball. It's self explanatory.

You should do this but make the map like a chess board, and each square either slows or speeds up the ball so it's really unpredictable

I feel like Leth should take this concept and make it that when the ball passes a certain point in the map, there is a chance the ball will either speed up in the direction it was originally going, or speed up and go in the opposite direction. I think it would be chaotic but also fun.

This could absolutely be an official game mode! Could be bigger and better than Heatseeker and eliminates the demo strats! Maybe add a ball speed limiter just to keep it at a point where you can still kinda maintain some semblance of control!

I was expecting the ball to rapidly speed up for every second it was on the ground (the field), but this works too!
Now you should try this same concept, but make the layers from top to bottom or sideways instead? Hopefully that makes sense.
smash together this cursed field with heatseaker.
attackers hit a heatseaker ball, it seeks toward midline, relinquishes heatseaking property and gets sped up increasingly toward defenders net/back wall
the ball would gain decreasingly effective speed boosts as it reaches the midline where the ball takes on the heatseaking property
Could you have the sections randomize how much the ball will be sped up after each use? Say they all start x2 like this, then each one rolls somewhere from -5x to +5x, so it could halve the speed, then triple it, then times 5, then quarter it. Might suck, but it could also be even more hilarious chaos
Watching this back after the 9999 mph to 0 mph game mode and I really like this one. Wanna do this game mode again but with other players as well to see their reactions? I mean I love this map so much lmao.

Expand the concept by adding deceleration fields in addition to speed up fields so it'll trip everyone up.
For some reason, I feel like this gamemode would be insane on that huge RL map thats like 3x the size or something i forget the dimensions. But you get what im getting at..
