Stenciling Color on Vellum (Part 1) "Inspired By" Video

- Tonight, I was inspired by our Facebook Group member Brenda Nace Osman to create a card using vellum and heat embossing. I decided to stencil color onto the back side of the vellum to create a soft monochromatic look! Our chat had SO many great suggestions, as usual and I really love how the card came out! That card is so pretty Cathy. I love simple elegance.
Never would have thought to ink the embossed side. I always color on the back so that the embossing shows on the front. Interesting... will catch part 2 to see the end.😊

If you do get a glass mat, please get the gray magnetic one Jennifer McGuire has. No glare from the overhead lights, and much easier to see the project than on the black or white mats!

As a Pergomana parchment crafter could I just mention that yes you can use pencils and Gamsol or Zest it on vellum.

Tom mentioned that it looks like a stained glass. Maybe you could make a stamp and stencil set that is a stained window, with an arched die? To make a church window? I think a lot of Gina K friends would love that, it could be a Christmas card or a sympathy card also.
